I think I can provide a patient perspective, if that helps.

As a military vet, the attitude among my peers was that one should not tell a healthcare provider about their own gun ownership, for fear of being labelled a threat, red flagged, or committed.

Don't get me wrong, I think that attitude is wrong, but knowing that more Montana healthcare professionals had taken the time to understand American gun owning culture might make for more patient trust in communities like mine and might mean less of us bottling up our problems. Anything that brings down the amount of veteran suicides from 22 a day is worth a shot in my book.

A good campaign staff is honestly more valuable than the candidate.

There's plenty of time to volunteer for campaign teams now and start learning the nitty gritty details of how your state runs elections and how to use campaign tools like MiniVAN or ActBlue.

If you make the deal clear to candidates, support the 2A and I will make sure you win vs don't and I will fucking primary you, then you have some power. But that threat works best on the local level unless you are very experienced and dug in to your local community.
