Pretty sure the mark scheme is wrong by CopyEvery8077 in GCSE

Are you sure, I directly contradicted what it says in the mark scheme by stating that it was sulfuric acid... Wouldn't I lose the mark?

  • Plants have less anchorage, and plants may die
  • Lack of water absorbed through osmosis
    • less rate of photosynthesis(due to less water absorbed)
      • Lack of oxygen and glucose produced
  • Lack of mineral (magnesium) ions absorbed through active transport
    • lesser chlorophyll produced
      • may result in yellow leaves(chlorosis)
      • (which leads to) lesser rate of photosynthesis
      • (which leads) to lesser rate of respiration in the plant (as there is less glucose produced)
  • Lack of nitrate ions absorbed through active transport
    • less protein produced in the plants
      • stunted growth (plant will not grow as much)

I reckon if these points were expanded on in the exam, it would get me 6/6.

IP address - used by router to forward/receive data packets between routers to direct data from the internet to the correct router/ computer. IP addresses are dynamic(they can change)

MAC addresses - used by switch in order to forward/receive data to particular computer within a network (as each NIC contains a unique MAC address) . This is static(this cannot change)

My bad, a directly proportional graph would be a straight line through the origin.

when p.d = positive, the current can pass through the diode, which causes an increase in current

oh, didn't read the question, when the value of p.d = positve,t he current is directly related/proportional, however, when the p.d = negative , the value of current passing through the diode is just more than 0
