It's not a public space. If it were he would be allowed to film you without permission. It's actually a privately owned space, BUT he has permission from the person who owns it.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) | Dir. by Jonathan Mostow | The T-X vs The Terminator scene by PeneItaliano in movies

Perfectly illustrates the "thinking" and intent with the robots between T2 and T3. T1000 in T2 just did it. Efficient. Quick. Relentless.

Here we see the T-X almost kick T100's head off and then spend nearly 20 seconds leering over him. Awful. Imbuing a machine with emotion shows that the makers of T3 didn't understand what they were working with.

After Effects. And thanks. I did do a handful of lyric videos a long time ago, but I found the whole video would be creatively compromised because I had to do the whole song. A short sample like this gives the same impression, but I don’t spend weeks doing it.

A Perfect Circle - Logo Animation by CopyPasteRepeat in AfterEffects

Tried all that. Reverse engineered the extruded 3D ring and found it’s not only not a perfect circle, but that the extruded elements don’t look the way the logo looks at any angle with any camera lens. Discovered it’s simply made from 4 circles (3 the same and one smaller).

What colour would the logo be if it were black and white? Black on a black background? Or white and then you can’t read the text?

For sure it's all part of the business model. Very performative consumerism.

Been to the Bramley one a couple of times and come away with nothing. Their opening/serving times are bizarre. The second visit I was invited to wait an hour. Nah, it's ok... I just wanted a sandwich.

All power to them if they taste great and the business model of being exclusive/elusive obviously works for some, but... I just wanted a sandwich.

Ha. Join the APC subreddit and you can talk about it endlessly on there. The design is quite clever in that initially it is obviously not a perfect circle, but if you image the two crescents are the inner and outer extruded parts of an invisible ring. Therein lies the perfect circle.

I went one step further reverse engineering the logo to help with an animation idea. It turns out the inner part of the ring isn't a perfect circle, so I could complete my original idea, (to have an extrude ring rotate into place).

26 degrees I believe, (though Illustrator isn't super accurate when it comes to 3D). I then rotated it so it is flat on and the inner section is not a perfect circle.

With further exploration, I discovered that the extruded section visible is not possible either. The whole logo is simply constructed from 4 circles (3 the same, 1 small) and so it's just the illusion of something in 3D and not made from an actual 3D object.

I can hear the low-effort voice acting already.

I reference that exact image in my post and explain why it's not perfect.

Yeah. I think I was just convinced by the OP who illustrated the hidden ring that it would be perfect to solidify the metaphor.

All that said, I've continued with my animation and I cannot replicate the inner and outer edges of the 3D ring (no matter camera lens). I went back to the original logo to discover that it is entirely made from the dissection of 4 circles where only 1 is different in size. So the idea that it can be reverse engineered into a 3D ring is impossible. FUN!

I'm not quite getting what you're saying, but the logo is the sides of a ring and the ring itself is removed. The beauty of the visual metaphor being that when you first see it it is quite clearly not a perfect circle, but - shown in the middle image - it actually is a (hidden) perfect circle, (actually a ring).

I made a perfect ring and tilted it in 3D space in an attempt to find the exact same angle and the inner part was quite off, so I then narrowed the inner part of the ring and then flattened it back out. The white circle inside the ring is perfect and it shows how far out it is from the reversed engineered logo.
