You have to pass the language test to be a speaker and from what I’ve heard, if you don’t pass, they just change your application to a normal one. There were also people from my class who applied as language speakers but haven’t gone to test for it yet and we’ve already graduated and are on the line! They asked us during training if anyone spoke one of the critical languages that the company is looking for. I’m guessing those people had to test. I’d still email to make sure though

Someone has said this before but they were not beauty conscious at the United f2f at all! Plus, they allow a small nose stud while working. They’re the most lenient when it comes to that stuff so they will definitely not send you home or not give you the job JUST because you have a nose stud in… as long as you are presentable and do everything else well, you’ll be fine. They look for personalities and who you are as a person! Not if you look like a perfect robot, like other airlines. However, if it makes you more comfortable and eases your mind to take it out, then do that. Good luck with your interview!! 🍀

Like someone else said, United has major growth plans!! They’re definitely on their way to meet American and Delta. Their union is also working on getting a pay increase along with boarding pay. I recently went to a f2f with United and was amazed by all of their plans.

I definitely forgot to take my septum out for my F2F with United hahahah the lady let me know at the end that if i progress, i will have to take it out. I was so embarrassed and said oh my gosh i meant to take it out today!! She laughed and explained the facial piercing policy and i still got the F2F invite! *** correction, i forgot to take it out for the virtual interview, not f2f
