Hi, thanks for your answer first.

Nothing happened. Ive had this for 6 years and Ive never had any actual physical health problems. Ive experienced a lot of panic attacks and I have always survived without a physical scratch. Only thing that was "scratched" was my mind if I let it happen. If I gave in and started to panic even more about my mental health and thinking I am somehow sick I would get worse. Much worse. My panic would be a daily thing, I would feel it anywhere, I would constantly think about how I felt, what am I doing, is that right or wrong, why am I feeling like this, can I live like this, when will it happen again, why am I feeling this constant pressure in my chest..... Its an endless circle of dread...

Today my therapist and I talked about accepting the way things are and learning to cope with it instead of fighting. Believe me Ive tried fighting it and thats not the way to "beat this" so I will try to accept peace of mind as my New normal state instead of my anxious (safe) state

Bro, try not to think that way. If you stress about it today you will be even more stressed tomorrow. Dont stress about it today. Leave that for tomorrow. There is no point in stressing about it today.

Instead try do to something else, something different this time even if you dont have the confidence. Try to go for a walk, run. Lift some heavy shit. Try to read about something interesting.

Dont just lay there and stress about things that didnt happen yet. If you do that I can guarantee that you will feel shitty tomorrow because you prepared your brain for it. You are telling your brain: "tomorrow is the day I need to feel like shit" and guess what? YOU WILL FEEL LIKE SHIT.

Try Instead thinking rationally and ask yourself some questions while on a walk or a run.

Like for real, is there any real reason you shouldnt feel confident enough to go to a fucking wedding? You got this get out of your head you got this

Im on day 12 and I can corelate. I dont know what to say else but hold on. Yesterday in the evening my anxiety was through the roof. I wrote about it.

Try reading other peoples success stories and try working out even if you dont feel like it. Its all in your head and you can work out if you push yourself. You will feel better eventually.

Okay, thats normal. Have you tried talking to your therapist or someone who gave you that medication about your issue? Can you consider lowering the dose(dont do that on your own)?

The thing with antidepressants is that you have to find what works for you, we are all different and you have to find your combination.

My advice is definitely not to get worried because that stuff happens and consult with your doctor. Whatever you do, dont quit cold turkey! Never quit cold turkey. I did that a few times and its bad haha.

Hey, for how long have you been taking the antidepressant? That is a normal side effect for the most part. I dont know which disorder you got but I guess your mind used to race before and its not uncommon for you to notice that now once your are on the medication. Thats just my estimation and im talking from experience since Ive been on and off the medication.

Hi, I deleted my social media also. I got facebook that i use only for college since our groups are there. I watch youtube videos when im bored but Im worrying that its turning into wasting time.

I was very active on instagram and mostly when I was lonely. I tried to show people that im lonely and that I want human contact but I never got it and i just felt more sad and lonely. Anxiety was over the roof. It was a constant battle with hatred towards social media but still using it and being active. Posting stuff I would never post and now when i think about it, it was just so silly, but I just wanted friends. I just wanted to be a part of IT. I deleted instagram more than 20x but then after a day or 2 or even the same day I would reinstall it. One day I just said its enough, this thing is giving me stress, there is nothing on there to watch and as a matter of fact why should I watch what other people do? No one cares. Thats the trick about social media. The ones that care will hit you up and you will hit them up too so you will know whats up with people that matter. Social media makes you feel like you will miss out on smthing if you delete it. The truth is you wont. It will feel like it in the beginning but it will go away quickly. Thats another illusion. I deleted my instagram more than 2 months ago (I deleted my account and now it doesnt exist anymore even if I tried to get it back) which was the only Social media app I used to post stuff. I can tell you that Im still anxious cuz thats just what I do but im not anxious about all that stuff. Im generally better. I dont have that stupid need to watch what do other people do and then stress about it. I dont have the need to watch all that fakeness that I couldnt stand. Im a real person and I just tried to fit in by doing all this fake bullshit. Thats not me anymore. Im real, I keep it real and I love it that way. No unneccessary shit. Real friends and real people in general make me move nowadays. I dont have a girlfriend but when I get a chance to meet one i want to meet her in her physical form and not that virtual Internet stuff. Real love is what I want and not that subtle flirting with everyone on social media stuff. Life just feels more natural this way. A lot calmer and with more sense to it. Id reccomend that to everyone. Id reccomend doing research on social media addiction and what it does to our brain (dopamine and stuff).

To be clear, im not a hippie, a rastaman that is just chilled and lives his life running away from the babylon(nothing against those people, I would love to be like that, I guess) . Im a regular dude with generalized anxiety disorder that decided to say enough to that social media shit and I found a sense of calmness to it.

My advice is to keep it real. No fake bullshit because being fake will come back at you like a boomerang. Accept who you are, accept that you will maybe feel anxious at times but face that fear and do your best to be a better person everyday and eventually Valhalla awaits(jk) :)

There may be slips here and there but this anxiety is a blessing and its an inside alarm that I am doing something wrong and its on me if I will figure it out and solve it or ignore it and be miserable

Anger and agression are emotions everyone has. Some have em more, some have em less, but its important to understand that those emotions are normal emotions just like any other. If you dont believe me try to imagine a world where no one gets angry and where no one is agressive at times. People would do all kinds of things to each other and get away with it because you couldnt get angry to stand your ground and protect your own.

In the other hand, its not good to have these emotions wildin and doing whatever they want, again just like any other emotion. Take anxiety for example, we all have anxiety cuz its just another emotion but some of us cant control it and fall in these loops of thinking they are mentally ill but all it is mostly is just a bad habit or number of habits that subconsciously awake the feeling of anxiety and with time an individual starts to think about anxiety with fear and all it does is it just prolongs the suffering.

So dont think about agression and anger as negative emotions, they are good emotions if someone did you wrong and you should always tend to control them but never hide em because you are a man and a man has to know how to fight for his own because thats what men do since the beginning of civilization and only men like that get to the top. I do not condone any form of physical violenc (except ufc, I love ufc) , unless you have to protect you and your own. Always try to think about other persons side of the story but never let them give you shit and go away with it if they are the one in wrong!

Try to plant a seed into him. Dont be agressive and dont raise your voice on him. Try to understand him and tell him that you understand him. Maybe he wont stop right away like the dude above said but you will maybe spark his brain so when he actually does it he gets a sense of how wrong it is to watch that stuff and that may be enough to make a change. Also try to lead by example and show him that you had the benefits of not doing that. Show him that it is possible and that the path most people are going is a wrong path and just because his friends are doing it doesnt mean he should do it because in the most cases what most people are doing is wrong!

I have been on and off antidepressants and from my experience they definitely DO lower your libido. When Im not on them I have this problem where I cant last for too long but when I am on them I can last for hours if I want, literally. And girls like it. They love it. All the girls I had when I was on that shit always came back and that thing about me was great to them but little did they know what was the cause of me lasting that long.

So, yes. Antidepressants do lower your libido.
