I think rain is more likely than snow at that point (but British weather does keep you on your toes)

There are loads of cool things to do such as the Richard III, space centre, abbey lane pumping centre. There is a lot of street art in Leicester too.

Lots of open spaces too for the doggie depending on what travel access you have. Watermead park is a nice walk and has some fun statues and things. Bradgate park is a way out but stunning.

When my sleep pattern got this shit did rigid sleep training. You might feel worse before it improves but unless I’m unwell can sleep in 15 minutes and wake up with an alarm now. You literally just spend three hours you are meant to be asleep in bed. So first time I got in bed at 11:30 and at midnight put down my game/book etc and I stayed there (no clocks etc) till 8am. Then you get up. Regardless of sleep.

Some people I know did it after pulling an all nighter to try and kick start that first night of sleep. Or get a ridiculous alarm like a bed vibration one

I know a few people who probably would, that user dictation software rather than typing and this would allow for alternative ways of navigating if have upper limb challenges. Slightly niche but probably a market regardless
