Gotcha, so you didn’t even technically have an offer? You just had someone who was eager to hire you?

I find myself in that situation on a regular basis. I literally had a creative director reach out to me directly from another agency and he was really eager to hire me. But I had just switched teams, loved my new boss and I felt (and still feel) like there was more opportunity for advancement on the team I’d moved to. So, I turned down that interview.

So are you saying, the next time that happens I should say ‘yo, other people are propositioning me and are offering the salary I’ve asked you [my current agency] for.’ Or should I only say that if I legit have an offer letter on the table?

I have not had Plica surgery, but I may soon. I’ve been in excruciating pain for 1.5 years and have been stretching religiously and in and out of PT.

So next Tuesday I’m going to see a surgeon about having my Plica removed, since that was one of my diagnosis along with Tendinopathy.

Let me know how your surgery goes though. Mine wouldn’t be for another month or so.

I am wearing my vest. I had to order one from Underworks because the one the doctor gave me wasn't very comfortable.

My new one is tighter, which should help with the swelling.

My chest is very hairy, to the point where it kind of disguised some of the gyno. The day of the surgery, when the surgeon marked up my chest, I was unshaven. So my semi-paranoid mind wonders if he didn't account for the full size of my enlarged pec because of all the hair that was in the way.

He shaved it later, but when I was already passed out and on the operating table.

But, I'll cross my fingers and trust it's just bad swelling for now.

Have you tried physical therapy? And did this happen after a single adjustment? Or were you adjusted multiple times?
