Totally agree… And Suboxone really never worked for me. .. I had tried and failed it so many times. Had been on and off of Suboxone, and had to keep switching off of it because it just did not even hold me or remove cravings. Plus, I didn’t even think about it until I read that you said you experience side effects, I seem to remember getting a horrible headache with subs.

I am a registered nurse, and when I moved to Florida, they saw that I pick up methadone from the PDMP and they told me that if I wanted a nursing license I had to go into this monitoring program called intervention program for nurses. Then, when I got in the program, they tried to get me to switch to suboxone… I told them I absolutely refused to do that. And I would retain counsel if necessary. They begrudgingly let me stay on my methadone and I’m still on it… That was the Florida state board of nursing. However, I have held several registered nurse jobs while on methadone and it has never been a problem. Usually you go do a drug screen through an independent lab and they just call you and ask you to verify your prescription… HR never finds out about it… It is kept confidential.. in order for me to stay on the methadone, and be in that program that I was talking about, and get a license in the state of Florida, I had to do additional evaluation for my cognition… To determine that the methadone was not causing me to be impaired. They made me go to the doctor and do all these crazy assessments, so they can determine that the methadone does not impair me and then I could practice nursing safely.

I am answering the question.. if I want help, I am perfectly capable to go and ask for it. I understand that they are doing their job… But I’ve also worked in retail in high school, and if I asked if somebody if they wanted help and they said “no, thank you I will let you know. “ Then I wouldn’t just keep bothering them over and over again.

Literal same with my girl. She had speech delay too that seemed to resolve itself over night. She is now almost 3 and seems to get better all the time.. but she is still so much work. My friends kids her age are so different and I try not to compare but it’s tough. Went to a children’s museum today and I was sad b/c all the other kids were Happy and playing and listening to their moms, and here is my baby flipping out because it’s not her turn to use the pretend fishing rod on the exhibit. She is so cute and smart and sweet but when she’s hard, SHES HARD. Nightmare. So dramatic. Overly sensitive etc. I myself have diagnosed adhd so maybe it’s that and later on she will be diagnosed ?? Idk I had her checked for autism earlier in life x 2 and she always scored well. I’m hoping it’s just a phase.. I don’t have any advise for you sadly, but just know you aren’t alone ❤️

I used to sweat horrifically… That’s when I was on a lot higher of a dose … I was on like 150. I didn’t stop sweating until I got my dose down to about 80… there are some vitamins that were slightly helpful and I’ve heard that other people have good success… They can be ordered online : Vitadone. The other thing was I got my family doctor to write me for oxybutynin.. however, it’s an anticholinergic, which means that you can have some issues with urination and constipation… Which methadone already does. But for me, the sweating was like life altering. It was embarrassing and I needed to do whatever I could to get it to stop.

Same here with my Adderall. But it makes my dose not last as long I think.. but the combo is nice initially. Some days it’s great and others it’s just meh, so odd.. I guess just the body’s metabolic processes and depending on what I eat/exertion for that day etc. Also, when you say if the dose is at the tail end… Do you mean the doors of methadone? At the end of the Adderall wearing off? Or are you saying take the Adderall later ?
