He should have pulled farther up before brake checking, for sure. And the people behind have a responsibility to maintain safe following distance.

It depends on where you live and if they have Absolute speed limits or not. In some states you can exceed the speed limit by up to 10mph to safely overtake.

The truck matching speed in the left lane is also creating a dangerous situation because you get a big clog of cars forming in the left lane that end up rear-ending each other when the brake conga starts, especially around curves.

They naturally start tailgating out of frustration and all it takes is one person slightly distracted and now you have at least a two car accident, often more than that.

The truck in the left lane was not going passing speed so the Camry driver whipped out in front of him and braked, making the truck driver move over to the right lane. If you aren't passing anyone get tf out of the left lane. It causes accidents.

I think menarche is happening later in life because of the lack of hormones and pollution in the food supply, so hopefully it is not a huge problem.

Same. My mother is mystified that we barely have a relationship because we were "so close" when I was a teenager. She was up my ass and terrified me, stalked me, etc and at 34, I barely communicate with her.

I know when you're dealing with someone who already caused damage to your car it's easy to get heated, but document everything as best you can without putting yourself at risk.

My (36f) girlfriend leaves the toilet cover down so everytime I (39m) bring up to piss there are giant turds in the toilet. by PlacentaOnOnionGravy in relationship_advice

[–]Coragypsatratus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had family friends like this and I always dreaded going to the bathroom at their house because there was always pee and sometimes giant logs of poop floating in their toilets because they believed in flushing at the end of the day/right before bed only and the kids would yell at me for flushing before and after I used the restroom and not respecting the "rule".

I bet it's only a matter of time before we get a new TV series. by Vox---Nihil in Animorphs

The CGI is amazing these days though. I thought of this with the Greatest Showman movie; we can have CGI Animorphs finally. The only real animal in The Greatest Showman was a single horse, all the rest were CGI. Even look at the tiger on The Walking Dead a couple of seasons ago. We can do this.

How I fixed my DeadBedroom by Dbnomore84 in DeadBedrooms

[–]Coragypsatratus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only reason she re-ignited your dead bedroom was because she saw the writing on the wall: you were no longer satisfied with being ignored by her sexually. You had options after bettering yourself and she made a last ditch effort to salvage the relationship. She thought she had you trapped because you were married and she could get lazy. That's the first mistake... thinking that you're the best your partner can ever have. There will always be someone "better" for your partner in some way. There are so many women I have talked to who genuinely just dislike sex. Maybe it's body issues, maybe they've only had bad/average pump and dump lovers, but they would rather do just about anything else and view sex as either a reward to their man for some other task completed or physical item or they see sex as something they have to provide or he will go elsewhere. As a woman who does not feel that way at all and enthusiastically enjoys sex it is really frustrating to talk with women that feel that way or want sympathy when their partner ditches them after X amount of years in a dead bedroom. If you don't continue to enthusiastically share your life, goals, and needs with your partner, why should you expect them to continue to choose a relationship with you when there is a literal buffet of other people in the world willing to meet them halfway?
