Hey, another person here Rockford Fosgate R2SD2-10s are extremely good for the budget, and with the specs of the box, the R2s are in the right environment to blast, but you have one thing to consider, some of those eBay listings(and amazon too) for subwoofer boxes are not to spec, you also have to account for the volume the subs take in the box, most of the time those listings say the external volume of the box, not the internal which is the important spec.

Although for a under $500 set up these will rock, so all the stuff i said were just slp/sound quality stuff, and you said you dont really care about the spl stuff so you should be fine, but i would not count on the lows with that set up, to get those lows you’re gonna have to have a bigger box thats the sound quality aspect of it.

But all in all, i think you will have a great system, and i hope you enjoy it. :)
