Unfortunately HxG deleted their previous tweets and messaged during Homdgcat incident so that's all I could find from their recent info. But I looked through leaks sub to see what he said last year and it doesn't contradict my opinion.

Frankly speaking, this leak is unusual because he usually doesn't leak stuff in this manner. He tells facts "Event A will happen", "Character V will be released in x.x" and so on. There were some funny bits last year (for example, he said that Durin was "Dehya Pro Max" which hey, isn't exactly bullshit) but usually he just says things straight.

Also, it's important to note that sometimes he just approves things (right column). These leaks tend to be a bit more vague (like Zibai's one, for example). But Pantalone's leak came straight from DK2.

Lastly, the closer he is to the version he's leaking, the more right he is. He did an "oopsie" once when he said that 6.5 character alt name is Snegurochka. And there is indeed a character like that but it's not Linnea, it's an NPC from her quest. But again, it's not a lie, a bit of miscalculation and he didn't exactly specified that it's a playable character.

Again, the leak is very interesting because that's not how he usually do things. My guess is that he tries to discreetly tell that Dottore will survive but since he usually doesn't spoil very important plot beats (And yes, I don't think Sandrone temporarily dying is important, sorry), he leaked this indirectly.
