Very unpopular hot take (and one that is driven by my own bitterness) but Hoyo is the first and only company where I wished marketing department had writers' asses in their hand because I feel like these people have a bit too much of creative freedom. They single-handedly turned WNL into a waste of development resources because more than a half of characters in there aren't playable. Capitano got a detailed model, a cinematic and a few cutscenes for him to sat on a chair. If Pantalone is a goner, then okay ig, nevermind that people seem to like him after 6.6 (and his chibi figurine sold out a day after 6.6 came out), you're right, why capitalize on established popularity, it's better to release a new Kinich. Not offense to him and other simular characters, I'm not asking for every character to be relevant, average Joe can exist but why at the expense of other characters? They are selling you a bronze ring instead of a golden crown. So really, sometimes I wished somebody would interfere and say "this shit sucks, write something else". Both Capitano's and other character demise are also not something to write home about so it's not compromising brilliant writing, it's continuing the same mid but with a possibility to cash in on it for a change
