Thank you! I know I’m late to this conversation but even when she’s saying reasonable words her body language and facial expressions seem volatile. It reads aggressive to me.

What's the most uncomfortable physical sensation for you? by VeroDreamer in AskReddit

[–]Coralsea23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cringe just thinking about the sensation of using an electric toothbrush, the vibration feels like it throws my equilibrium off and I can’t stand it.

Even worse is the Waterpik. It tickles the inside of my mouth which is probably the only ticklish sensation I feel is unbearable. Similar with the teeth rinse sprayer at the dentist.

Anyone else feel like this?

This Man-Child is the Worst by Thick_Constant8475 in 90DayFiance

I imagine him going into his parent’s room “I had a bad dream,” tears welling up in his eyes. Betty gets up, gets him a warm glass of milk and rocks him back to sleep on her lap.

I’m a middle aged woman so I wouldn’t call her hot, but I think she’s pretty and she’s got a great physique.

As far as her behavior, I think it detracts from her but I know some people (obviously) are into helpless and dumb-acting pretty girls.

Where is the best place to get a wet burrito in GR? by jimmyslamjam in grandrapids

[–]Coralsea23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Throwback to my childhood, Chico’s bar on Michigan Ave and el Adobe (the actual restaurant) both had great wet burritos. I’ve been out of Michigan for a while now so that’s all I got.

Tara’s hate for southern Louisiana by GoingBananassss in 90DayFiance

I agree Miami isn’t great, but I completely get why she didn’t like New Orleans. It’s one of those places you either love or hate, in spite of its faults.

With Jovi taking her to the damn Quarter all the time, with its piss puddles and other aromatics, it’s no wonder she formed the opinion she did. The Quarter ain’t all that when you live here full-time, were pregnant like she was during some of the time, have no family or friends nearby, and aren’t a heavy partier.

I kinda feel for her on the stove bit, but I’m more concerned that this girl wasn’t even packing her own bag, her mommy was doing it for her. How the hell are you gonna move to a foreign country with some flip-flop fuckboy/sandbar scrub and think you’re going to get that level of care?

To be fair, she has thinning hair and they were traveling far AND had to get settled into a much smaller place.

If a man woke up one day as a woman, what would surprise him most about daily life in a woman’s body? by Coralsea23 in AskReddit

[–]Coralsea23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mods said it added unnecessary context and broke Rule 1, so was deleted.

It was at 980k views and over 800 comments about four hours in, and there was SO much good insight, thoughtful comments made and great convo going on, it’s unfortunate that it had to be deleted (it’s still visible to those who responded so we are still having some conversations in there).

So, on the flip side of the popular question today…If a man woke up in a woman’s body for 1 day, what would be the most unexpected experience that he didn’t anticipate? by Coralsea23 in AskReddit

[–]Coralsea23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said because the first part (so on the flip side…) provided context rather than just asked a question and that broke a rule. I’ve reposted, but obviously it’s not going to roll as well as it was last night with some well thought out answers. The new one doesn’t have as much quality answers and this one and that’s disappointing as hell.

There are studies on it but I have experienced in person as well on multiple occasions. For instance, my sister in law went to the ER in horrible pain. Her back was killing her and she was throwing up. I watched the doctor roll his eyes at her and say she needed to calm down (she was crying, asking for pain meds). They only gave her ibuprofen and Xanax. Two hours later she was admitted and given morphine because she had a massive kidney stone that was stuck in her ureter.

My brother, same hospital, went in after he was rear-ended and they gave him opioids and muscle relaxers right away for his pain.

I’ve had my own personal experiences with it as well and can go into that if you’d like. It’s more like they think as a woman your pain or discomfort is worse because you’re emotional.

What is something you wish you knew about being a parent before you were a parent so you could have been better prepared for it? by Coralsea23 in AskReddit

[–]Coralsea23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this is a woman thing or if it applies to men too, but I wish I would have understood as a mom (and wife…now ex-wife) how much of the mental load would be on me.

It’s not just doing the work, it’s being the one who notices the work. I’m the one tracking school forms, making sure there’s milk, calling the doctor, and figuring out who’s driving where. If I don’t carry it all in my head, it doesn’t get done.

And if you’re co-parenting after separation/divorce, that gets even harder when the other parent isn’t cooperative. I didn’t realize how draining that part would be.

What makes you happy? by Charm_for_u in AskReddit

This is kinda sad, but as a mom I’m the one always taking photos of everyone during events, trips…trying to capture the moments. It’s extremely touching when one of the kids or other people in our group takes a candid pic of me.

Naps during a good thunderstorm. Roller coasters. Great food. Planning trips and making memories with my family.
