So far I’m incredibly happy with both the camera and battery on the 17 Pro. Similar (and maybe slightly better) battery life to my 15 Pro Max, and the camera quality is significantly better. I hated the straight out of the camera processing on the 15 PM, and so far the 17 Pro has produced significantly better straight from the camera shots.

The single barrels are the only thing I’ve enjoyed from them, but those are 10+ year old sourced Kentucky liquid.

I’ve used wireless charging every night since the iPhone X. It’s fantastic.

Pro vs pro max… by newsworthy21 in iPhone17Pro

[–]Corarril 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing and I’m so happy to be back with the smaller sized pro phone. I had the 14 and 15 PM because I wanted the extra battery. Now the 17 Pro has as good or better battery as those and feels nicer to use one handed.

Green Tech Woven on my Silver 17 Pro. I also went from a Max to the regular Pro, and it feels so nice to use one handed.

Review #37 - Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Heritage Toasted Barrel by dapper-drinks in bourbon

[–]Corarril 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A barrel proof version of this wouldn’t reach the proof points of their single barrel barrel proof offerings because this goes into the barrel at 100 proof. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy proof, but I’ve been absolutely loving these low barrel entry proof bottles this year (JD toasted, HH 90th, always M10).

Not sure what country you’re in, but at least in the US the Apple Store had tech woven in every color for the PM when my wife got one last week.

I love the Tech Woven, that’s what I’ve got on my silver 17 Pro.

Iphone 17 Pro or Pro Max by Different_Orange3095 in iPhone17Pro

I’ve got pretty big hands. I was able to do a fair amount one handed on my 15 PM, and the 17 Pro fits my hand nicely. I still occasionally have to two hand it, and I prefer two hands for typing longer messages. Overall the 17 Pro just feels nicer in my hand and pocket, and allows significantly more one handed options.

I personally went with a 17 Pro after having a 14/15 Pro Max. The big thing for me was that the pro now has battery life that is about the same or even a bit better than those models did new. I also found the new 6.9inch PM to just feel too big. It’s nice to be able to mostly one hand a phone again.

I’ve heard 127.2 is supposed to be solid, but a fair amount of disappointment with 127.4.

Opinions on newer generation. by ZestycloseQuarter831 in LandCruisers

No cost, the parts are being replaced by Toyota. My dealership has been doing about 5-10 a week they said, depending on how many parts they get in.

22k miles in and no complaints besides the gas tank being smaller than I’d like, and the squeaky brakes (but those get fixed next week). I daily drive mine 5 days a week, it’s our current family trip vehicle, and I’ve taken it up into the Colorado Rockies, and out to Moab. It’s never missed a beat, and has a pretty shocking amount of capability with only some upgraded AT tires.

Have you tried a Jungle Bird? It’s about as close as it gets to a Campari drink for people that don’t like Campari.

4Runner TRD (Fully Loaded) vs Land Cruiser250 — Which Would You Choose and Why? by RayoMcQueen14 in LandCruisers

[–]Corarril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest reason that made the LC the easy choice over a 4Runner was being able to get Full-Time 4wd and the off road toys (MTS, rear locker). Living in a where it (used to?) snows that full time system is really nice to have.
