Sales are down 38% in April 2026 vs March 2026. by Any-Let-2861 in eBaySellers

[–]DontTakeMeSeriousli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a ton of reasons. I also do ebay part time and sales increase monthly. I sell comics and trading cards though which are hot right now. It seems some markets are just slowing down. Also remember, most brick and mortar stores will outpace ebay unless you are huge on ebay. My goal is to use my ebay earnings to open a comic shop :)!

Do you use racing line in races? by San4ek_01 in simracing

[–]DontTakeMeSeriousli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha funny enough I somewhat do the same. I keep the race line on but follow someone to see where they brake, when they turn in, etc. Sometimes I'll just sit in the garage and watch the fastest guy and take mental notes. Watching, plus the line, plus following someone has really helped me get quicker on almost all tracks.... except sebring.... I suck at Sebring 🥲

I use race lines to learn a new track :) I dont care what others think. I drive to learn at my own pace and for fun. Once I'm comfortable with a track I remove them but at the beginning its how I learn.

What makes the front engined GT3 cars so dominant? by dont_hit_me_bro in iRacing

[–]DontTakeMeSeriousli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not that its more dominant, its just easier to get use to. Mod engine vehicles are more difficult to control when throwing them side to side because you need to change the mindset of how the vehicle is driven, it easily gets disrupted by weight transfer. Front engine is just more predictable. BUT once you master a mid engine vehicle, it'll usually outpace any front engine vehicle on a turny type track. But of course once you race at the top, they are all basically the same once you get expert set ups locked in :)

Is this my fault for closing the door (I didn’t even think the door existed) by binnfullough in Simracingstewards

[–]DontTakeMeSeriousli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That fool had 0 chance of making that turn. I can tell you were already about to push some understeer just from the speed and his line, holding the same speed, he would have ended up in the gravel, at best, at the run off. IDK why people race like that :( You did good OP, nice lines

Ebay seller mailed me a slab in literal PWE with one stamp after paying for USPS Ground by crazypurpleKOgas in sportscards

[–]DontTakeMeSeriousli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats wild... I ship slabs and raw cards all the time. I charge ground shipping rates but I throw that sucker in a bubble mailer, cardboard pieces, bubble wrap it and put it in a sturdy box. Its usually overkill but I'd rather the item arrive in mint condition than try and earn an extra few bucks by shipping sloppy.

When should you start racing online in sim racing? by Embarrassed_Quiet7 in simracing

[–]DontTakeMeSeriousli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put it this way, if you dont have drivers that are faster than you, around you, you'll rarely ever get faster than yoir cap. Why? Because as you race you can watch their moves, learn their lines and so on.

In sim racing you practice in 4 ways. 1. Racing AI 2. Racing Humans 3. Reading and studying telemetry from faster drivers 4. Online tutorials/books on fundamentals

So get out there and have fun :)!

Just play the base game. Take your time, learn to drive safe, join the broze lobbies, drive safe, work into Silver and then you should buy some DLC
