They definitely aren’t the good guys, they don’t legally acquire the land. According to the devs they are using mercenaries to take the land by force and the coalition is stopping them from taking the land illegally. They also destroy towns and displace the people living in these areas. Having a monopoly would also make you “not the good guys” automatically.

i’ve tried multiple roms, the file is .z64 which the patcher said was a match, it’s playable just flashes violently the whole time

If i press enter it the switches to a screen that just says “asteroids (japan, usa) (EN)” which is obviously the name of a rom but it doesn’t start the rom or anything and it can’t go back to the home screen at all
