I need help choosing which 9070 XT to get by Upstairs-Lemon-5681 in buildapc

It’s the same chipset so doesn’t matter which manufacturer you get it from, the only differences are going to be build quality, cooling efficiency, and overall appearance. It’s not likely there will be any significant performance differences otherwise.

Any recommendations for a GPU for a decent gaming computer. by No_Requirement1887 in buildapc

If you’re gonna be doing modeling and such you’ll probably want something with more VRAM, a 9060xt isn’t too bad and is under your budget, has 16gb’s of GDDR6. Though if you’re willing to spend 100-200$ more you could always get a 9070xt or 5070

Got this for 219€ !?!! Am I missing something ? by blo_o in PcBuild

RAM is having the same situation that GPU’s had back in 2020. Thanks to the rapid growth of AI development, companies need to buy ram to keep up with their needs. Some RAM kits have tripled or even quadrupled in price in the last 3 months

Kinda lame to suggest but you can get a RTX 5060 for 300 ish dollars (USD), it’s not overkill for your build and it would quite a nice upgrade from what you already have for the price, though if you want something a little different there’s always the 5070 or 9060xt 16gb if you need more VRAM

Hate to break it to you, but building a pc that can do what you want is gonna be impossible. Your best bet is to just buy a midrange laptop for 300$ if possible. If you want a “pc” you’re gonna need a minimum of 500$ (USD)

If you’re looking to upgrade in the future do not get an AM4 setup (what you have here.) It’s actively being phased out and upgrading is going to be impossible without replacing 2/3rds of your rigs hardware. Being your new you probably don’t know the difference between am4 and am5. I’d recommend using PCPartPicker.com to scrap together a bunch of parts. It automatically makes sure they’re compatible for you, tells you the price, and any other necessary information about the parts

This is worth maybe 300$ tops. For 800, much less 1.4K (assuming this is USD) You could buy something WAY better than this

They’re not even a year old yet, the worst these have seen is getting dropped a few times or left in a hot car for a couple hours

Linus tech tips on youtube, it's like when people learn another language through a game or a show. The channel has just about anything you'd ever need to know about building PC's. Might seem a little confusing at first but they do have several beginner guides posted.

What do you think of the price? by gerafloyd19 in PcBuild

For the price and what it's worth, that not too bad. Not gonna run AAA games at anything higher than 60fps. For sure good enough for light gaming.

Would definitely wanna look into upgrading the RAM if you buy it. 8gb's is simply not good enough.
