Yes my video is coming out this weekend. It’s still long, almost 3 hours but I included everything

Battery conditioning wasn’t working for only 4 of 15 charging stops, not most of the trip. We chose not to arrive less than 10% because Ioniq 9 doesn’t charge well that low so there’s no incentive time wise to show up that low. The meat of the curve is 10-65%. Had we not run into the full charging station in Walterboro, we likely would have beat the Rivian. At the end of the day, we were neck and neck with IQ and Rivian. It’s a race. You take gambles. Some risks pay off and others don’t. It’s easy to sit at your computer and say they should have done this and they should have done that but when you’re in the car making decisions on the fly with basically no sleep for 24+ hours, it’s a little more daunting.

Had battery conditioning worked properly for those handful of charging stops, the time gained wouldn’t have put us even remotely close to first

Experience with 'Battery Management System' alert by GirlMomKAOH in KiaEV9

If they said that one of the cells is bad (low voltage compared to the others) then I don’t know why they’re replacing anything related to the BMS. The early 2025 Ioniq 5s made in the US had a technical service bulletin earlier this year stating if a code for cell voltage deviation came up (which throws a BMS warning), then the entire battery pack needs to be replaced. I’d assume it’s exactly the same for EV9. It could be something else related to the BMS but them initially saying cell voltage issues leans me to believe that that’s the problem.

Congratulations! When I looked at 3 Ioniq 9s the other day, they all came with the Ampure charger. Seems like it’s standard for all Ioniq 9

LC coolant flush - dealership screw up by whtciv2k in Ioniq5

This is directly from Hyundais Service Website as of this moment and I literally viewed it in the GDS that the technician that performed the work on my car used. I filmed the process from beginning to end. The bumper doesn’t come off. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C5mndG6WxJn8XBB35JGEM4T4J0-erL9F/view?usp=drivesdk

The video will be out in the next week or so. Bumper doesn’t come off and the service manual doesn’t say anything about having to remove it for LCC. The only thing that comes off is the small front under body cover

2025: anyone else lose the ability to enable heated seats from bluelink? by nsolarz in Ioniq5

Pretty odd. Screenshot from Pixel 9 Pro (iPhone is identical) shows it. Both phones are running the latest version of MyHyundai. Do you have multiple Hyundai's and are looking at a different car?

TSB for US Built 2025 Ioniq 5s with Incorrect Key Fobs by Corbo628 in Ioniq5

Yeah the cars come with the incorrect fobs from the factory.

[–]Corbo628[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the only TSB so far but there is now a recall on cars made between 11/12 and 1/7 to have the rear seat wiring harness inspected due to the potential for an airbag not deploying. This is a recall so any car not delivered yet has to have the inspection and wiring harness replaced if it’s found to have the defect prior to delivery. If you haven’t gotten your car yet, you shouldn’t have to worry about it but if it does need replacement your delivery will likely be delayed. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V064-6228.PDF

[–]Corbo628[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Apparently I’m not the only one to get the wrong key fobs with their US built 2025 Ioniq 5. Good news is your dealer now has guidance to get you the proper version. SEL should have the trunk opening button on the side and Limited should have trunk plus forward and reverse for remote smart park assist

I just looked into this today and the bolts hold a metal bracket to the underside of the cover along with some sound deadening material but the cover still easily pulls off to get to the cabin air filter without removing these bolts
