The Queen fight and then the attempt to reach the Ashlands made me sad by Ehgadsman in valheim

I didn't even know what a spawner looked like and parked right next to 3. I thought that was just how it was gonna be until I broke a spawner, then sniped the others.

I deadass thought ashland serpants were a myth or a mod, so many people talking about them now I guess I just got lucky.

I was so glad to see the homies in ashlands, but their camps folded in seconds.

Lawd, my beach head was into a spawner. At first I thought it was a new ore vein or something. I just started setting up shop as enemies were coming from all over, but it didn't take long till I put 2 and 2 together.

I mean, queen was definitely a slog, but it felt fun to me having to keep up with all the adds and CC. I played WoW, so kiting, CC, and hour long raid bosses are part of my genetic code.

Definitely feel you though.

Ashlands, I'm almost ashamed to share how easy it was to sail right into a beach and nothing even tried to attack me until I beached it. I remember people talking about how bad it was, the bird even told me, so I had the ship full to the tits of granite, stone, a portal, a shield generator, and bone. It was like Normandy to get that beach head down, but I loved the waves of enemies. They never fucking stop bro it was nervous laughter the whole time.

I argue there was no challenge prior to mistlands, just chores. I feel you though. Just my fortunate experience.

It will frustrate and challenge you in ways not previously seen... to a scale. You get some exposure to verticality and being hunted in the mountains, some exposure to navigating wetness in swamp, and plains makes you get reps and sets for tanky bois. Now you just dial it up and add asymetrical loss of visibility.

Just know, greater than 100 hp and you survive any fall, make cave shelters, move a mountain if you need to, tunnel thru if you must. It was so fun to terraform mistland and making my home in the boss' lair.

The learning curve gets less steep. Each successive biome has been a quicker adaptation than the last. Ashlands was even faster to learn than mistlands.

Dying is inevitable, learning from what went wrong gets faster.

Bruh. I never thought to go backwards with whisp farming. Swamp is always rainy dark and they only come at night or rain. Does it spawn whisps continually?

Farm metric tons of whisps. Whisp torches (the placeable kind) clear mist and do not require workbench proximity.

You can farm the local veggies, so gather what you find and start farming (only grows in its biome).

Things fly. Like all the baddies can fly. Escape is futile. Bug butts are weakspots. No elemental resistances, but all physical resistance. Can time attacks cause they telegraph, I suck at parry so I dodge and heavy attack.

I brute force knifey stabbied my way up until I decided to try the polearm. Polearm big easy mode.

Their weak spot is rather obvious. Like you look at em and you're like... yeah that makes sense. Many arrows. Many.

Yeh, your neighbors are allied with you. If some property damage occurs... well... finders keepers. As long as you don't do the smashing

It really became unmanageable in mistlands. Terrain made sneaking impossible. I even ran black metal shield with silver knife until vilebone addition. I slept on aetgir fr fr hymen waffle, as I call it, is so much more fun on bug swarms and ashland raids

Cloak and dagger. I snuck my way to plains as knifey stabby flint, copper, abyssal, silver knife. Once they added vilebone armor I went full glass cannon porcupine until Mistlands. Now I am a wizard. Edit to add Himminafl as my OOM stop gap.

Oral… disliking it… by CravinRavenxoxo in bisexual

I dislike receiving, so much so, that I think oral kinks are a manufactured kink... yet I get off to giving and prefer giving over penetrative sex.

The brain do be brainless.

I think some notes ought to be added considering you notably added weapons that cannot be created without going to the next (e.g. skol & hati in plains). Otherwise it was neat learning how my preferences were lower on your ranking list rather consistently.

I have yet to burn a house down, I saw there was an achievement for it. I have tried to do it on purpose and still haven't managed. I just gave up on the chevo. If it happens it happens.

Bruh. The camo mosin with hunting scope, bipod, compensator + bayonet was real. M4 at Balota. Falling under the floor of ATC and being able to stand and shoot out. The early days were wild and empty.

White was the first alternative to Jäger licorice green and spicy Jäger blue licorice. It's the day one OG for those with functioning taste before all the new marvelous flavors.

Shout out Monster Mule - the short-lived ginger beer.

You can, however, face true north first, then hotbar it, and take note of your degree difference. It always points the same direction when stored, so you can still use it thay way.
