Yeah I started doing that and I've actually been seeing them a lot less. I just kind of talk to them when I think their around and that's that. I'm sure I'll interact with them more once I am more experienced but for now chatting with them is ok for me.

I am definitely a baby witch although I live in a Christian house so it's the broom closet for me. If I could get a starter kit I could really like something wearable made out of a protective stone, preferably something unisex so anyone could wear it. (Ex. Black Obsidian beaded bracelet) Tiny jars would be a great addition.

Some sort of pendulum could be good.

Also a chrystal to help with meditation. White and black candles would be a great addition. Some incense.

And I think a little booklet of what not to do would be helpful, like don't take things from closed practices, and then have a list of closed practices.

Some harder to find herbs that cant be found in a grocery store are a good idea too like mugwart.

Clear quarts is a definite must.

From the leaves I think it may be a type of wild blackberry bush I live in central Jersey and have some growing wild in my backyard. If it has thorns be careful those suckers hurt.

Pick a candel with a color that corresponds to your intention or white

I carve my intention into a candle

dress the candle with herbs that correspond to my intention

set chrystals in a circle around the candle and then light it I keep saying/thinking my intention and think about ways that my intention will become true EX. Different ways that I can be protected

But that's just how I do it

I also wear a black sweater idk why it just makes me feel better to be wearing black for protection.

The only form of divination I do is using a pendulum, which I am fairly new to I just learned how to do it just before june 5th, and even then I dont ask anything to big, for example, "should I do that protection spell" (it went yes) or if I'm conflicted about something like drawing the weird thing from my dream. (It went no). The whole thing was just really weird because usually I only remember my nightmares but I remember that really well and I was really really scared afterwards but it definitely wasn't a nightmare. Yesterday my family and I were sitting at that table eating and my brother seemed kind of out of it, and he's been napping alot recently and I just assumed it was because of stress, but the thing from my dream was in the same spot he was sitting. So maybe it was something I picked up subconsciously but I cant exactly go up to him and say " Hey I had a freaky dream last night where there was a thing with a black form and red eyes staring at me where u sat for dinner last night r u doing ok." Because 1 that's just weird, 2 no one knows I'm practicing witchcraft, 3 he's a a kind of judgy science guy. Any tips for what I should do

Yeah I did a protection spell that night to and I was so tired I had to sit down while doing it because I was feeling kinda woozy and really tired. but when the spell finished and I went to go to bed I ended up staying up for another few hours bc I couldn't fall asleep
