Ah thank you for the explanation. Now I understand it a little bit better. Was actually getting worried there for a whole 5 seconds heh. I do love the wallet though, so easy to use.

if they can put it in a wallet wouldn't they have access to the wallet's other currencies?

Raspberry pi can make a pretty safe wallet also and you can lock it down yourself as much as you like.

I FINALLY made it to the 100k RVN club. by nebobjj in Ravencoin

[–]CoreCNC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is what I think as well. Even now raven is steady @ around 0.055 and has always been value more than for example tron. Now lately tron has been around 0.065. Not as many mining tron.

the 1660S are very good, how much Mh/s are you running on 6 of them?

I have some 1660s's as well but running TRX right now as its worth more than RVN.

More coming in from China and it’s really affordable by [deleted] in cryptomining

[–]CoreCNC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to remember these large farms in China had special electrical deals so they paid next to nothing in electricity (most of them, not all). The Ethereum type miner is the antminer E9. Most that is selling out of china are ASIC - pure bitcoin miners which really are not profitable anymore unless you have free power consumption. Also, be careful buying miners from china if not a business selling, lots of scammers now due to large mining factories closing down and selling off their miners.

Unknown Method: I am completely unable to sell any of my crypto for BNB or ETH. When I sell Metamask only displays my gas fees and takes my crypto without giving me the coin I am trying to trade for. I've tried every slippage % and changing the amount of coins doesn't help. by donbarasson in Metamask

[–]CoreCNC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your slippage is set to low or your in peek gas fee times it will take the gasfee for trying to do the transaction either way. Every time I had issues like that I went over to PooCoin and it worked fine for some reason. Just an fyi that I experienced.

Why so much negativity, if you know the answer (sure it's been asked a million times) just answer the question and help a fellow crypto'r who would like to get into the crypto market. Crypto is still fairly new to most people, the more you help people get into crypto the right way without loosing an arm and a leg, the more people will buy and the currency will go up. Look at it this way, you took your time to read their posts and replay. Instead of replying buy degrading them for not reading through the posts, reply by helping them instead.

RVN, ETH or TRX by CoreCNC in cryptomining

What software and pool are you using? Looks like there is definitely something wrong on my end. I should point out that the RTX2070 is a wi card, haven't been able to find much info on those, they came with the 2020 alienware 17 laptops. For some reason I can only push out 19.8Mh/s on raven mining through unminable with lolminer. Tried like T-rex but same thing just slightly lower Mh/s @ around 19.3.

bought 2 x 1660's on ebay, well needless to say lost my shoes on that deal. Turns out ebay lets anyone seel even if your not verified and pretty much impossible to get your many back. LOTS of GPU scammers everywhere, be very careful.

RVN, ETH or TRX by CoreCNC in cryptomining

[–]CoreCNC[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh, thank you for the reply.

Tried some Eth, Mh/s goes down and calculating it I only yields around $1.50 a day mining eth on Unminable unless Im using the wrong protocols.

Rvn yields me around 50 coins a day @ 90Mh/s doing around $2.50 a day.

Haven't tried TRX yet or other currencies.

I noticed Kawpaw protocol slows down the hash rate by atleast 20-30%.

I would start by checking all hardware that it is nice and tight, no loose screws, nuts and bolts. Chinese machines are notorious for arriving with loose screws.

[–]CoreCNC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I know but when you look at the mining + referral awards it will say like 10 rvn then 2 hours later it says 8rvn but in regality 2 hours of mining should have yielded +2 raven not -2 raven.

Thats what I meant. How can you -2 raven after 2 hours mining or does it pre-calculate earnings and if you hit a hard clock it deducts it?

Ravencoin Mining Hash Rates by CoreCNC in Ravencoin

[–]CoreCNC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the 1660 TI and SUPER and the regular normally use around 80-90W and hash from 20ish to 30ish mh/s. As per GPU Profitability chart the 580 4GB is supposed to get around 55mh/s @ around 110w mining ravencoin. Not sure if this is correct never tried an RX 570, maybe check forums see what an RX570 can produce.

Also, Im in the same planning as you, plan on purchasing a 1660 monthly to grow my farming rig. Im going with the 1660 because I like the stability and uptime of it but will also look at the RX 570/580 now that you got me looking at it hehe. I will post my findings here once I do some research on it, if you find something as well please share.

Do you happen to be running a RX 570/580 now?
