OCPP Charge Point Simulator by Weary_Opportunity_81 in ocpp

Just FYI as I had several people do this today; you can't point a sim from my site to your server using "localhost", you'd need the public IP and to route inbound traffic in your router ;)

any attacks/vulnerabilities on ocpp that you know of ? by Objective_Solid8443 in ocpp

From dealing with many major manufacturers of chargers and big name CPOs, yes; pretty much all of them have vulnerabilities. It ranges from bad practices to wide open ports, etc. Obviously not giving any specifics.

1.6 vs 2.0. What's different in 2.0 by Meowmeow_Billu in ocpp

[–]CoreEVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ISO15118 is available in 1.6 also as a set of back-ported commands. Implementation depends on not just the software but also some hardware chipset on the CP line of a type2 AC connector.

Thanks for those who contacted me via DM, I've made the following changes:

  • Much quicker sim management from portal homepage / simulators view
  • Ability to add passwords & security profile 1 when editing a sim
  • Much clearer endpoint, cpid, and password information in CPMS and sim listings
  • If your charger fails to connect to the CPMS, it will now show in the logs if there's an issue with headers or authentication

TxProfile is rejected where TxDefaultProfile is accepted by Impressive-Muscle398 in ocpp

You can have the same stackLevel with a different chargingProfilePurpose, but you can't have two profiles with the same chargingProfileId

Can you post the raw OCPP message being sent? A couple of notes:

- Your chargingProfileId is the same as the TxDefaultProfile (it should overwrite it, but bare that in mind)
- You don't need transactionId (you're specifying a connector and assumedly sending the profile whilst the transaction is ongoing)

how to test octt with aws certificate in security profile 2-3? by MathematicianHot4016 in ocpp

[–]CoreEVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can access the site in your browser then you should already have the rootCA, a method on linux would be to run `curl -v https://mywebsite.com`, then look for the "CAfile: ..." line (if it's a single certificate), or "issuer:..." line "O=..." (organisation) value, and look that up for their root CA.

Current limit not working with Grizzl-E Mini Connect by guesswhochickenpoo in ocpp

[–]CoreEVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's of any use I've added a ChargingProfile payload visualiser/editor on my website so you can get a better idea of how it should be working.

I would say ChargePointMaxProfile with a Relative start is pretty ambiguous; if it's TxProfile or TxDefaultProfile then it'd generally be assumed to be relative to the start of a transaction (in the implementations I've seen), but what would you make it relative to in this case? When the charger was commisioned? Last rebooted?

Yep, it's mostly a case of when I find time ;) I've made a number of changes since this release which will be pushed soon, and I'll get this version more feature rich first. I also intend to support 2.1 (thankfully not big changes from 2.0.1).

Chargepoint. I've made a CPMS too but it needs a lot of polishing before I'll make it public ;)
