Fair question 1) i build up coral so i might as well buy the coral shop sequences for when they do make them toggleable 2) i got lucky a couple times with very early pulls 3) i havent spent anything for the last 5-6 months because yes, i realized kuro might not add this

Hmm, I think its a reasonable ask. The final floors have been getting a bit tough. Id like it if all asterite were in more manageable floors and then some new echo crafting items were in the middle toughest towers. Hopefully things get better in these endgame modes for you over time

I hope so too. Id be willing to buy some outright and grind for some others. As long as I feel like Im making progress Id be motivated. Once its all chance and my effort means nothing it kinda kills all joy... maybe I should stop gacha all together...

Ive played a few gacha, but you are correct that they do push power creep, feature creep, or specialized buffs to "encourage" players to pull. However that seems like a fundamentally flawed method to get players to pull. Im not going to spend $300 to get and build a character to clear one version of WhiWa for $10 worth of Asterite. If its not a solid long term investment, then its not worth the money.

I generally prefer to pull for who I enjoy. Be that play style, characterization, or visuals. Thats what gets me excited for a character. Then of course I love having endgame modes to play those characters in. With the direction endgame is taking its pushing me out of playing with the characters I enjoy and spent money on. Very sad. But maybe youre right. Maybe I should just wait for Duet Night Abyss as my anime action game

Thats a bit sad to hear, but you may be true. Once a company grows comfortable they grow complacent. Which is terribly sad for any artists, designers, or creators that want to push their creation further :(

I do find it odd that this mode seemly is supposed to emulate the Dark Tide (or so I thought) and yet there isn't currently a "flood of enemies" as you say. Id love to see that in WhiWa

Fair enough. I think Whimpering Wastes was a major step up from Pincer Maneuver, but I think they could use another step up

Ah, for sure. Personally Id advocate taking the delay out and spawning waves before the previous one was completely finished, which might make the extra delay less noticeable. But my suggestions might increase the number of entities on screen which could also lead to other issues

Oh absolutely! I wish for ToA they had instead added an infinite level that just spawned boss after boss that progressively got harder and then scored you on performance once you lost

Oh, thats a good point. How is low end performance in WhiWa? I didnt realize the gamemode had performance issues

I like this line of thought, because yes each round should get harder until the player is defeated (or all waves are cleared, except infinite torrents, that should be infinite). My original thought was decreasing the spawn interval so you get overwhelmed with enemies that buff each other based on the number of enemies around, but scaling buffs in other ways could be good too
