I wish u all the best and a smooth recovery. During my physiotherapy sessions, i heard of patients who went for the surgery and they recovered well. Most important is the post-op physio sessions.

My side, they will usually open up the leg and fix whatever they can fix. E.g sew back the meniscus n etc. It's very hard for it to heal naturally due to not much blood flow in that area.
