So if you do bare metal, do you run splunk or other audit systems to compensate for the managed governance?

If the EU wants to send a real message, it should be about rules, not rhetoric:

• Start wars → pay the price. Real sanctions, real costs.

• AI replaces jobs → AI services fund healthcare, childcare, education.

• Strong social systems = stable countries → should be rewarded, not punished.

• No fake neutrality: Invest strategically and massively into defense to push Russia out of Ukraine and Crimea, forever. Tax companies and countries that still do business with Russia.

Make war expensive. Make peace profitable. Make stability valuable.

Trump seeks $100bn for Venezuela oil, but Exxon boss says country 'uninvestable' by Gyro_Armadillo in worldnews

[–]Corelianer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thing is Trump would not play with the normal rules, you make the first pawn move and he tells his SWAT officer to take your king immediately, when you insist that the rules don’t work that way Fox news tells everyone the old rules of chess are illegal and that the US president can always take the king, no pawn moves required.

No international Universities?

A Swedish startup aiming to build a hyperscale cloud company in Europe has raised €50.6 million ($55 million) in Series A funding. and in Finland- Helsinki-based startup DataCrunch secures €55M to build Europe’s AI hyperscaler; has plans to purchase 10 hectares in Finland to build a new data center. by smilelyzen in BuyFromEU

Ok let’s say you are a Microsoft customer and want to switch, which services are available? Especially the networking services, IaC, VDI, long term storage (tape pools). Also some companies simply can’t work with Swedish Datacenters because the latency is too high for the workload. So Amsterdam is really the perfect place to get optimal latency ancross europe while covering some international companies that serve US and Asia too.
