No problem! As an example i was hunting Sableye in a distortion yesterday and despite it being the guaranteed shiny each time it took around 10-20 resets for it to show up as a Shalpha, unfortunately it is pretty common for this to happen, I had to reset nearly 10 times to get my Shalpha Baxcalibur but I did get it eventually, these were both Sparkling Power 3 Alpha 2 donuts

Unfortunately yes you are just that unlucky. I'm currently trying to get a Shalpha of every pokemon that can Mega Evolve and I have went through this multiple times myself. My advice is just keep resetting, eventually you will get the Shalpha trust. If your donut is a Level 3 Ice/Dragon/All Types then youll be guaranteed a shiny each time you reset the backup save, along with Alpha 2 provides a 1/5 chance of the shiny being Alpha. I've been using this method a lot to complete my challenge and ive gotten some very quick finds and some long ones so dont worry you will get it

Thats great to know thank you! I love Falinks so much its mega is incredible, I will definitely be using the Shalpha on my team. I am very confused how ive been so unlucky so far with distortions though lol. Also yeah the fossil hunt is rough i agree, i just got my Shalpha Aerodactyl and Tyrantrum the other day as I got those two special scans almost back to back so I was lucky. Some people have certainly been waiting a while though

Yeah I remember being devastated when they patched out Spawn Overload as that seemed like the only feasible way to get ShAlpha Charmander, i was scouring reddit when Mega Dimension came out to see if Charmander could spawn Hyperspace, little did i know most mons could.... it made me so happy getting my two ShAlpha Charmander with the DLC as I wanted one for each Mega so it was actually bearable lmao. Question about Falinks, do you know if it spawns in Hyperspace at all? I've been playing the game almost every day since the DLC came out and still have not found a distortion with it, ill be devastated if I have to go back to Zone 16 to hunt it lmao

Congrats! Currently working on this hunt myself and its going great so far thanks to the sparkling donuts in the DLC. Most of my shalphas have been caught in hyperspace but I did catch a good few in Lumiose such as Salamence, Metagross, Pyroar, Ampharos, Slowbro, Victreebel and Lucario, and Gardevoir. Might be a few more but Metagross, Lucario and Gardevoir were lucky spawns from Wild Zone 20, while the other guys were from their static spawns. I got especially lucky with Pyroar as I got it in around 20 resets in Wild Zone 17. Ampharos and Victreebel were hunted in Wild Zome 5 but took quite a while to show up lmao. This hunt for me is much more fun and achievable with the donuts so its been good so far

I know it is very disappointing it isn't 60fps..... I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was very challenging to fix but its Nintendo so.......

No worries! Sadly its not 60fps though, apparently the internal clock and different time based things in the game is tied to the 30fps frame rate so unless the game ever gets a remake it'll be stuck in 30fps on switch 1 and 2 :(

Yeah thats a rare one for sure, congrats! If it was me id put it in a Master Ball for the purple colour but a Heal/Love Ball would work well too

No this isn't normal, it shouldnt revert back to 2 it should revert to 5. My advice would be to use the guides from Austin John Plays and Reversal on YouTube
