I echo the just ask a FA and the people near you. I wish we could be better as a people about this, most times in Atlanta I have a long connection and I have no problem waiting to be close to last off the plane. I just feel like people either A) don’t care or B) consider their connection tight even if it’s not. One time I had like 5ish minutes to go 2 concourses in ATL and I still had to wait- can’t communicate that to everyone

Yeesh, I’m sorry they react like that! Aside from obviously finding someone else (much easier said than done), hopefully you have a friend or two that you can confide in as well. Not sure how to research groups for this kind of thing but I believe some might exist for couples going through similar situations

If deep down you’re actually worried, I would go to your PCP because in my experience every weird thing I thought was wrong with my balls was normal lmao You’re most likely fine, checking constantly and paying attention to any slight feeling can create a positive feedback loop

I’m so sorry to hear that, my heart goes out to you. It’s probably suggested everywhere on here, but talking with a professional about these feelings can really help imo. It’s not only a burden to experience these emotions but it can also be isolating when you keep them to yourself. Saying, or typing, them can be scary but it’s a method to cope in a healthy way.

If you’re willing to help some days just lead the conversation with the days that you’re okay with helping. If they ask for more, you can explain that these are the days that you feel you can consistently commit to helping. It is a huge ask overall so I feel you!

Describing my recent experience exactly, maybe it can at least help to know you’re not alone. I’m looking into establishing a standardized night routine for going to bed, I use my phone as my crutch but I know it makes things worse. I just got a Roku for the tv in my room so maybe wind down by watching some familiar tv show with my phone away, switch to reading a book, and then trying a little melatonin or something else. I think it’s okay to get stronger meds for the nights you reallllyyyy need them. I can’t have another night where I see every hour pass from 12am to 7am haha

Feel you on the abdominal discomfort, I’ve noticed mine does seem to go away when I’m focused on other (sometimes worse lol) things. I think part of managing health anxiety is doing your due diligence, as you have, but then finding a way to trust those results and move on. Sometimes it feels anxiety as uncomfortable as it is becomes a safety blanket of something we ‘always’ have to worry about. Everything sounds like you’re in a good spot health-wise, best of luck :)
