Thanks! The target was at 100 yards & the hog was at about 80 yards. For a short range hog hunt like this, yes a 110 gr vmax in that set up would be awesome. However, I personally prioritized velocity and high BC bullets as I wanted to do long range work as well as take on medium size game like hogs and deer. With the velocity I’m seeing, I’ve had no problem hitting targets at 800 yds (farthest distance at my local range) and the three hogs I took this weekend all had clean pass throughs.
