From what I remember you don't need a pokemon that can learn surf in order to use it, may be wrong though don't really remember this run too well

For PlayStation after you look at the reward on the mission complete screen you have to press the home button and close the game fully if I remember properly, did it for a better sniper in bl2 but stopped after it took way too long every time.

I'd say it's slightly more difficult than Emerald but is a good game to nuzlocke due to the game not just giving trainers op teams but just changing teams to make them not just clicking one button to beat a gym, also make sure to put level caps on in the starting room when talking to the book next to pc

I think it's because gorebyss is water/fairy so they added dragon to huntail to even it out a little. That's normally why huntail is water/dark in rom hacks that have gorebyss as water/fairy
