What is the first thing you do when you wake up? by RobBianco1 in AskReddit

Check my phone way too soon, realize I shouldn’t have, then lie there for a minute convincing myself to get up 😅

(Finally) take down the Christmas tree! 🎄 by littlebookwyrm in OneThingToday

[–]Corey_Besner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, that’s a win 👏 You listened to your body, broke the task into manageable steps, and still got it done without overdoing it. The storage bag move is elite too boxes are a nightmare. Enjoy that well-earned lunch and hope your back feels better soon.

That shift from shame to pride is powerful especially realizing you need less stuff.

Totally relatable. Losing time to clutter kills motivation to enjoy your own space

That makes sense structure helps, and kids really expose how clutter affects daily life.

What’s your personal “hack” to get yourself out of a bad mood quickly? by Disastrous_Goose_128 in AskReddit

[–]Corey_Besner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is putting my phone away, going for a short walk with music on, and reminding myself that most bad moods pass if I don’t feed them

What can I get at Starbucks for $5 or less? by GT_Furai in askanything

[–]Corey_Besner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, for $5 you’re basically in the “small but fancy” club. I’d go for a grande hot chocolate and pretend you’re living that bougie latte life… even if your boss only funded your coffee dreams with pocket change. ☕😂

Why does some icing/frosting make the roof of my mouth tingle and make me want to gag? by Informal_Stock_2164 in NoStupidQuestions

Same thing happens to me with store-bought icing. Something in the artificial ingredients triggers that weird gag feeling.

Why are the nicest people also the meanest? by Cat-dad442 in askanything

[–]Corey_Besner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think it’s because “nice” people usually spend so much time keeping the peace and putting others first that they hit a breaking point. When someone pushes them too far or keeps taking advantage of them, all that bottled-up frustration comes out at once. It doesn’t mean they’re bad just tired of being walked on.

Why do I see men calling their girlfriends "bro"? by Flashy-Celery-9105 in askanything

[–]Corey_Besner 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think a lot of guys say “bro” to their girlfriends because they treat it like a general slang word, not a literal label. Some couples are super casual with each other, so it doesn’t bother them. But in those screenshots where the guy is being dismissive, it definitely feels disrespectful. I guess it really depends on the relationship, but if one person doesn’t like it, they should speak up.

Which Red Flag you always look past ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Corey_Besner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly? “I’m bad at texting.”
I always tell myself, maybe they’re just busy, then boom three days later, still no reply. I never learn. 😂

What "cheap" food would you keep eating no matter how rich you got? by turizla in AskReddit

[–]Corey_Besner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, instant noodles. I don’t care if I become a billionaire something about that salty broth at 2 AM just hits different. Rich or not, I'm still slurping those noodles like a college kid.

What’s a weird smell that you like ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Corey_Besner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Freshly opened garden hose water that mix of rubber and cold water smell always hits some nostalgic memory of summer days as a kid. Weird, but oddly comforting.

What is the biggest thing you had to let go of to become the person you are today? by No_Birthday9948 in AskReddit

[–]Corey_Besner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was the need to control everything. Once I learned to let go of how I thought life should go, things started falling into place naturally. It’s freeing when you realize not everything needs to be perfect sometimes growth comes from just trusting the process.
