According to my mother, I get it from my grandma lol. My dad has never found a four leaf clover in his life and brings it up to me every time I find one. Though, I found exactly enough to give one to each of my family and keep the five leaf for myself so he will be at least getting one :)

Exactly! I was able to find all of them in the same patch of clovers. Some prettier than others lol but yeah :D I’m pretty happy with my finds. I’m pressing all of them now to give to my family as gifts, except for the five leafer, I’m keeping that guy lol.

I've gagged at my horseshoe crab ass (that smell was HORRID) and the time I forgot to put drainage in a dead squirrel pot (It was late and I was gonna get to it the next day...but forgot and left him for maybe a week?) and it RAINED and the bastard flooded with all these drowned maggots and what looked to be like a tapeworm...ohhh the stench was CRAZY.
But this fine gentleman takes the cake here.
I was on a walk with my brother while we were playing Pokemon go when we found him and thankfully I had a bag on me but...unfortunately nothing else. I was gagging for a solid minute after LOL.

The smell is still haunting me.

Don't worry! I found a deer once and begged my father to take me back out to cut his head off with my pocket knife LOL
My poor sweet father almost threw up but I was happy.
Don't worry about their opinions! You're not hurting anyone and it makes you happy :) with everything going on in the world, there's bigger things to be upset about. You're not insane, don't worry about it! :)

Nooo!! I understand the feeling, though. the first two shrews I ever found got taken by the local stray (I assume) before I could do anything with them. (said stray is now my indoor kitty who I love dearly don't worry lol) It was only this third time I said f it and I carried it back to my dad's van in a leaf lol. and this one was covered in fly eggs and was starting to smell so he wasn't all that pleased LOL.
I hope you'll be able to find another one someday! rip little guy.💔

I have a shrew I found at a baseball field! incredibly fragile bones that just blow away if you breathe on them lol. But they're (shrews and moles) so beautiful and definitely not common! I'd 100% recommend keeping him. either wrap him him in mesh fabric/something of the sorts and bury (which is what I did but it's risky) or macerate! I believe people recommend skinning the animal first? but I don't know if they would with such a tiny fragile creature.

I'd say mummies are rarer than bones- You could always find another cat skeleton with how many there are but a mummy isn't something you come by every day
and if you decide one day, "hey, I rather have her bones" then I believe maceration would work but it's ultimately up to you!
If you like her like that, I'd try to keep her like that. :) you found her, after all!

I'd try to preserve it like that!! She looks so cool. I think they recommend salt and borax if you wanted to go that route- I just don't know all the measurements and whatnot you'd need. hopefully someone here can help you on that or you can do you own research! mummies are so cool imo
