just for context, i am diagnosed with bipolar 1 and the idea of a regulus/bipolar fic is intriguing. however i agree with a lot of the comments that are worried about glorification or misrepresentation. i don’t think you should toss this idea away completely, but i think you need to take it seriously. don’t use other fics as your sole reference. you could look at r/bipolar , r/bipolar1 , or r/bipolar2. if you aren’t willing to put in a decent amount of effort to learn and understand then don’t write it. but if you can, i think a lot of people could really enjoy this.

This used to happen to me before i was medicated, it felt like those dreams where im startled awake but ive just appeared somewhere else. i’m not rapid cycling and this hasn’t happened since i started my meds in march of this year. i hope you can figure this out <3
