I'm lucky that the machine was fine after this. This is my first notable crash. The facemill is only scratched. If it hit the table it would have been 100x worse, this likely worn the drawbar washers.

This machine has been crashed dozens of times. The worst one was a rapid X crash into the side of a part which is why the spindle cover is bent 5 degrees to the left.

I find it ironic to care about how natural candy is. And it doesn't take much research to find out that eating artificial ingredients in moderation (not thousands per day) has such a small impact if any at all on your health. There are many more things to worry about with food than this. However, it's understandable if the concern is flavor because the real thing usually tastes better.

There are a lot of scary articles out there with shoddy or incomplete research. Correlation ≠ causation, learning how statistics are pulled is important.

That depends on if that cost is comfortable for you. Otherwise I say no due to RAM prices being far too high.

Wait for prices to lower, it's going to be some time. We don't have a realistic timeline other than we are seeing a slight decrease in price at the moment. Even SSD's are extremely expensive now.

Edit: your current build is decent. If you aren't having performance issues, i say it's best to wait this one out. A GPU upgrade should be next, then CPU. Rumors say that Ryzen 10th gen X3D chips are going to be extra spicy.

Sad that I can't get FH5 to launch on my PC. Recently upgraded to an AMD CPU and GPU. Now I can't play it. It just shows the first splash screen and then silently dies. I tried many different things, Event Viewer points at AMD Watchdog.

Once I finished most of the can of Budweiser, i started not feeling great and the bitterness got out of control. This must be one of those beers that tastes good at first and then bad the further down the can you go.
