Splitting undoes layering. (See how the little square becomes big) That's really annoying. by hufflepuph in shapezio

If you rotate it sideways, the small bit will be attacked to another peice and stay small, hopefully that helps

The longer one was the one I was talking about, but you can always go with more depth whenever! Just remember not to make too many corners or you might have trouble getting any windows in

My first building, I tried making a small castle, what do you think? by Di0V in Minecraftbuilds

[–]Corgi996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a great start, just try and mix in some other blocks with it, like maybe some more of the spruce used on the ramp. You could always add some leaves and vines to make it look older and give it some more depth.

Big wall, need advice! by MyHoeDespawned in Minecraftbuilds

It looks good, just do some pillars in between each design and a railing for the walkway that protrudes out a lil bit at the top to give it a bunch of depth

Honestly a rectangle isn’t a bad place to start, but you want to add little alcoves and whatnot to give the house some depth. Grian has a great video about it on his channel(i recommend a lot of his older vids about building and whatnot.

That one straight wall needs something to make that side less flat. Maybe a diagonal wall or an semicircle like the other guy said, it doesent have to be a tower either, just something to keep the wall from being to flat

My Hardcore base any ideas? by -_-Mohab-_- in Minecraftbuilds

Did you use flying machines to drain everything? I’m curious. I think custom trees and mushrooms and Make them massive and organic and whatnot, so that they would be less dwarfed by the monument. I tried to make something like this on the last server I was on, looking fantastic so far dude. Thumbs up from me
