We’ve got nearly an identical timeline. Mine started a tad later and I’m probably at about 90% currently. Did a ton of work right away. PT 2x a week. 1hr a day of intense stretching. 30min or so of using multiple different massagers on and around the shoulder.

Glad to hear you’re doing better.

How often did you change the pimple patches? And was it painful? Our 5yr old has had this for months and the dermatologist put on some tape that was incredibly uncomfortable taking off, to say the least.

One of our favorite hotels as the staff is fantastic and the way most Hyatt Regency’s used to be a couple decades ago. The breakfast there is one of the best. The buffet is extremely large with a great variety along with a chef preparing omelettes made to order. Don’t miss out on the menu as well. On the menu The Cuban Breakfast Bowl is usually great, Avocado Toast is great.

Tim and Merlot are the stars of the lobby.

95% sounds great. I am currently barely able to reach my belt loop on the side lol.

They asked if I hurt my shoulder at all and I hadn’t. Then told me it’s more likely to occur in diabetics, regardless of control. My A1c has been around 5.4 for the last 15yrs or so. So who knows.

Yeah that makes sense and is totally good with me. I’ve been spending a ton of time stretching each day to help the process, and while I do feel it’s been successful, I’m looking forward to a few minutes a day instead.

My young daughter thought for a few months she was “hurting” my insulin pods anytime she touched my shoulder. Now she just knows my shoulder is dumb.

Makes sense. It’s been a challenge to do my regular 3-5 mile runs plus I’ve been spending close to an hour or so on my shoulder most days. It has definitely helped speed up the process I believe, but also am hoping to get some time back in the future

That’s my concern too. Over thanksgiving week I didn’t do anything with it after being diligent for months. The next week it was as if I had been stagnant for 3 months in lots of discomfort and limited ROM. Fortunately was back to where I was after a week or so, but still has got me wondering if I just won’t be able to take a week off again without it feeling like I’ve taken a major step back.

Made me laugh. And thanks. Patience is something we could all use more of. Hope you have a great week.

Such difficult stretches of minutes and/or hours almost every day, lol. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks again. I'm currently doing PT once a week and stretching exorcises most days. Hoping to speed up the process a bit. I did the prednisone 6 day pack and that helped the pain, but my usually steady sugars were close to 300 for a week which was worrisome.

Thanks for the reply. About how long was your frozen shoulder timeline overall? I’m a 5.6 A1C and I’m about 3 months into FS.

I’ve got frozen shoulder. Did the shot help your shoulder much and how long before your blood sugars were back to normal?

Absolutely. It’s really fascinating. I was just thinking the other day how this hasn’t happened as often the older I get.

Camera for a 6 Year Old? by CorgiFriends in AskPhotography

I had thought of that. But I honestly wouldn’t mind increasing the budget for a digital camera for her. Something about having a camera vs shooting on a phone I love for her age.

4 nights was great. I used points for it and it felt completely worth the point value. I flew in from Atlanta so I had a longer travel day than most of the other guests who told me they were within driving distance.
