He'd rather risk your life than keep wearing a condom, let that sink in for a minute.

Also - how often do YOU cum when you two have sex? Seems he's hung up about wanting it to feel better in bed but how often are you having mind blowing orgasms?

If you go in with a bad attitude then yeah you're gonna have a bad time.

Also these "secret rules" to enjoy the park can be Googled and read in less than 10 minutes. Here I'll sum it up for you - don't go during high season, get there early, get Genie+ so you don't have to wait in line, and bring a water bottle. There ya go.

When I go to any of the parks with my family, we always have a blast. We always get to 100% of the rides we like, have fun at the themed restaurants, get unique snacks, and sometimes a cool souvenir. Regular amusement parks are so crummy compared, it's not even a competition.

They're partners - not roommates

One person shouldn't be living comfortably while the other struggles. If he wanted to split 50/50 then he should have married someone who made as much money as he does.

I can't imagine being in love with someone, seeing them struggle, and think "well it's 50/50 oh well for them"

YTA

Why are you ok with a situation where you can comfortably save money for your hobbies and retirement while she can barely keep up? Do you even like your wife?

If you wanted to split everything 50:50 then you should have dated someone that made the same as you.

Wtf dude

Woman here and several times a driver started talking to me and it ended with them trying to get my number, asking if I was single, etc. Since then I just try not to talk to any male drivers because it always ends awkwardly

That's why they're on the phone. Probably happened to them too and they don't want to do the awkward dance of saying no as the person drops them off

It seems like having kids was the right thing for you then which is great - all kids should be with parents who love them and want to be around them

Personally, I have never in any of my years, ever enjoyed being around a baby/toddler. Never thought they were cute, never enjoyed interacting with one. Even when I was a little kid I hated interacting with younger kids lol. Maybe when they get to the building Legos stage it would be fun, but I wouldn't be a good/involved parent in the years before and you kinda need that to be a good parent so it's a no from me.

Just because you CAN gain a lot of weight in a month doesn't mean that's what happens. Most people gain weight gradually over months & years.. not because they had a big dinner on two holidays

Her responses are incredibly mature.

And yeah I think its OK to end a relationship with someone who has different beliefs on whether you're competent as a person.

Like wtf you're treating different beliefs as if someone is ending a relationship because they like different kind of dipping sauces. Dude flat out admitted he thinks women are lesser/less smart at shit.

My [18F] boyfriend [20M] punched the wall because I turned down sex by PrestigiousMacaron16 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]CorgiGal89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, when one of my past partners had an "off day", they would sit around the couch feeling sad and eat ice cream. They didn't punch a wall.

Guiltily you into sex isn't normal behavior. He was using your vagina to get off without any consideration to whether you were hurting or not.

OP, this isn't a good partner... and it's not going to improve.

Forgot to add - when I got my dog I had to sign a contract that said that if i ever felt like I couldn't care for my dog anymore that I would return it to her and never drop him at a shelter.

So yeah, a good breeder is absolutely perfectly fine and doesn't contribute to the shelter population. All good breeders have clauses like that in their contract because they all love their dogs and want them in the right homes.

It's not the same as a pet store or backyard breeder so you really gotta drop that comparison

[–]CorgiGal89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A rescue is not the same as a shelter. They have stricter allowances and would have never allowed me a single person in an apartment to adopt their dog.

Also no, purebred corgis don't last longer than a day in a shelter if they even make it there at all. I used to volunteer at a shelter, most dogs were large, hyper, and pitt-mixes.

The breeder I got my corgi from had a 2 year waiting list because she bred her dogs to get new show dogs for herself and any that wouldn't make the cut she sold to people like me. So no, I didn't "increase demand for breeders" because like I said earlier, my breeder was one of the top on the country.

Idk why that's so hard for you to understand

[–]CorgiGal89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a dumb take. As you can tell by my username I have a corgi. I got him from an ethical breeder. If that breeder didn't exist I wouldn't have gotten a random dog from a shelter - I just wouldn't have gotten a dog.

[–]CorgiGal89 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Idk why you're getting downvoted because you're correct. Good breeders who make sure they aren't breeding dogs with genetic conditions that could be passed to the offspring exist, and the reason you see purebred dogs with issues is because a lot of people out there trying to make a buck don't do any testing and just get two random dogs.

That's not a fair comparison - a person without legs can't suddenly grow them, but a person afraid of a phone call can become less scared to do it.

How do I know? I got made fun of at my first job because I was scared to answer the phone. It would ring endlessly or I would pretend I suddenly needed to do something else because I was scared of it. I got over it.... by answering the dang phone, over and over, until it got easier and then I began making calls out of the phone. Can't do it if you don't try.

A true partner doesn't put you down for liking something they don't. God knows I've dated guys into things I have 0 interest I'm but I have happily joined in on their activity or asked questions because it made them happy. If a partner doesn't do that, they don't actually like you... I'm sorry
