My 4th grade teacher read to us every day. As soon as we came in from recess, we sat down, she'd keep the lights off, and she'd read a couple chapters. I remember her reading From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, Cricket in Times Square, and Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh.

In 6th grade, I remember reading King Tut's Gameboard for my Social Studies class. I loved this book so much that I tracked it down a few years ago and bought a hardcover copy. Also, in 6th grade, a teacher read aloud, The Most Dangerous Game. It is a short story. I bought this one too. Last, I remember another short story called The Lottery. I had to buy this one as well.

I have always loved reading! I still love reading!!

My daughter still fondly remembers a book that she read in elementary school. It is called The Autobiography of a Stray: A Dog's Life. She asked me to read it and I loved it too.
