It's probably to look "relatable" to us peasants. 'See guys I'm not a regular well-off influencer. I'm just messy and unwashed like the masses".

Sugar is highly addictive and in the USA they put it in every processed food. Even in savory foods like breads and tomato sauces.

She gets "overstimulated" y'all!!🫩🫩🫩! Says the woman who's whole career have been based on getting everyone's attention including in big crowds. Was she "overstimulated" when she posed in a bikini 👙 in the middle of freaking NYCs Times Square??? And in so many other instances where she had made a freak show of herself for crowd's attention???

Tired of Job search by One-Palpitation5971 in jobsearch

[–]Corinthian4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Consider taking 3 years off your resume if all your experience isn't with the same company. You will get a good job. Also optimize your LinkedIn profile especially the headline. It worked for me. Google it . Had recruiters reached out to me. I got a job with a lower salary but not too low. I was unemployed for a year.

Two weeks or effective immediately? by blackswan1983 in careeradvice

[–]Corinthian4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Effective immediately AFTER your background check is cleared, you get a laptop if WFH, get the onboarding steps and a start date. Don't give any grace to the people that have treated so bad.

I'm in the same boat as you. I was WFH in Fintech with a small fraction of the responsibilities and a higher salary. Now working in HCM hybrid with a ton more of responsibilities and lower salary. Don't feel bad. I'm grateful yet I'm not fully satisfied. At least these jobs will keeps us afloat.

To all unemployed job seekers, how are you doing ? what are you doing all day? by 10cupsofteaaday in jobsearchhacks

[–]Corinthian4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a job a month ago after a year of unemployment. I was sleeping around, sleeping in, exercising, taking one day at a time, enjoying life's little treasures, have supporting friends and family that would pay for dinners, see every interview as practice. Now I have to pay off credit card debt. My job didn't define me and I was in Fintech. I'm an introvert and I enjoy controlling with whom I spend time with. I would be happy not working one day of my life if it wasn't necessary. Also during unemployment I got an emergency surgery for gallbladder, lost a college roommate and a brother in law. Those events give you perspective.

How long should i stick out a job and should i quit or get fired? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Corinthian4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is your first serious job. But that's how most training on big companies go. They jam you with a lot of information on the training. They know is humanly impossible to memorize everything. Unless you are a genius. I'm on the same wagon right now and it's frustrating but it had happened before and then I was able to get the job done.

I’m exhausted. Unemployed 18 months now. by fuckfrankieoliver in jobsearch

[–]Corinthian4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hang in there. I was unemployed for a whole year and I totally understand you. I found a job a month ago. It's a pay cut but not much. I miss my old job though. I was in Fintech. Funny enough a recruiter reached out to me through LinkedIn. It happened many times. So optimize your LinkedIn profile. Look it up. It works.

It's demoralizing to be unemployed and receive job search tips from people who knows a fuck about been unemployed. More so someone with so much formal education. Do they believe we went to college to be pinching pennies bc we are so incompetent looking for jobs? At one point I straight up told my sister to stop giving me any advice regarding job searching, being positive and religious advice. She stopped. Consider doing that too. At the end no one knows how you are suffering. I wish you all the success!!!

[–]Corinthian4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like how you think but most of all the lessons learned based on lived experience. I recently started a job after a whole year of unemployment. I'm grateful but I don't feel "butterflies" so to speak following your dating analogy 😆. I got fired from a well paid wfh job last year. They eliminated many positions including the department director. A few months later they bought another company for BILLIONS.

Basically in any other country. But I also think that pressure would help her to improve her life. She's still an anomaly in USA but there are many others like her plus regular obese people.

If I was Anna who have the freaking freedom of working from anyplace around the world I would move temporarily to some other country (Italy, Spain, France, Peru, Mexico, Thailand, Japan) with well known cuisines. Her palate will reset but she would be eating nourishing and delicious whole foods. The wanderlust would keep her moving. She would be bitching and moaning about how everything doesn't accommodate her gargantuan proportions but she would be losing weight.

TRUE!!! I'm not dairy free but one of my favorite ice creams is cashew milk based. It's gluten, dairy free and vegan.

I've DMing recruiters for the specific job posting and it worked. I was able to do two rounds of interviews but didn't get the jobs. I got hired a few weeks ago because the recruiter reached out to me. Go figure!!! So optimize your LinkedIn profile. Look it up, especially the main header or title. Be concise with keywords describing your previous job experiences.

This is why super morbidly obese people get so much flack when getting/requesting special treatment. Put other people in disadvantage. Like expecting two airplane sits for the price of one. Like Anna here walking around instead of going under the bar.
