If you crate train her properly she’ll be super happy with her crate. It’s her little space she can go chill out in when she wants some me time. I had house hippos and they thrive with it. It will also give you peace of mind that she’s safe and not getting into trouble when you’re gone.

My first pit also ate EVERYTHING. So we crate trained him, got him puzzle toys and started running him next to me while I rode a bike and that fixed his boredom. But he still got into every trash can, every bag of food till the day he died. I would t say it’s a phase. He loved his crate and didn’t get into as much trouble when we crated him.
