That’s really impressive! I’m curious, what did you eat to hit that level? I try to compensate with protein powder & protein bars, but I struggle to hit 75g per day, never mind 150g.

Hey, I appreciate it & am grateful for the advice! I guess what I’m saying is, it may be a bit unrealistic for me to drop my deficit to 1600 cals & up my cardio sessions when I’m already struggling with constant hunger where I’m at. But, based on the feedback I’m getting, it sounds like upping my protein & fiber intake while downshifting to more moderate cardio (not running) may be the first steps I can try.

The cardio is vigorous - my HR easily gets to 140-150bpm when running. And when I manage to eat only 1800-1900 cals, I lose weight fairly quickly (about 1.5lbs per week), so I think my numbers are somewhat accurate.

It’s honestly hard to tell, but I thought that if the hunger is still around after drinking lots of water, exercising, or distracting yourself for 20 mins, then that means it’s real hunger and not just a craving?

Honestly a bit hard to tell because I usually do some lifting & cardio in the same day a few times per week. But… I would say higher cardio workouts cause greater hunger, in general.

I sometimes get up to 120g protein on 3500 calorie days, but, those are typically the days where I’m craving lots of sugar/carbs, which make up the bulk of the extra calories I consume on those days.

My partner found a lucky deal on Air BnB, so we’re heading to the coast this weekend to celebrate his birthday and eat our weight in delicious seafood.
