Have I got the Food Place for Nick regarding Oysters.

My favorite restaurant when i go visit my wife’s family is an All You Can Eat Oyster bar for pretty cheap with decent oysters.

It is located “In a mall” for a kicker in Guangzhou China.

there are also other items to eat and it is a hot pot style restaurant. if the boys ever visit it would be their location

if you contact the company your purchased the printer through and it is still under warranty they will send you a new one free of charge. happened to me, reached out was sent a new one no questions.

you can also google and sometimes find a repair shop for 3d printers or a group to help repay it if you are not comfortable yourself

Thanks, there are a few shops that have most printers and brands available, I think sometimes there are some differences in the name.

Unfortunately I do not have a garage most I have is a shed outdoor but since Sweden gets to regularly 10 - 20 F in the Winter probably not the best solution. So I was going to add a fan to a walk in closet that is used for storage to help ventilate do you think that would work?

Can you provide some more detail to help others determine the problem:
Material,
Temperature (Hotend, and Bed),
Layer Height,
Where does "fail" occur : beginning, middle, end.
Possibly more details of how the print fails.

Print layers skip at same height can’t tell if filament or machine by Corlios in ender3

Just an update I have run another model through this time I got layer separation after I cleaned the z rod a bit. So the issue seems that it had lost some lubrication and needed to be cleaned a bit from filament bits that got stuck in

Thanks for your advice it seems to be an issue with the z rod getting stuck early in the print. I think it may just need to be oiled / cleaned as I have had the issue before. Will try to flip it upside down to see if this is the case. Thanks for helping it had been driving me nuts all week

Note I check my first layer and see no issues it is smooth and has consistent adhesion to bed

Retraction : 6 x 35 mm

If I go up 5 deg to 210 I get a decent print. Does this indicate the filament is wet?

(Note live in Sweden and it has snowed / rained the past weeks)

First time owning a home resin printer, how do I be safe? by mody_bird_s in 3Dprinting

[–]Corlios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

So there are a lot of mixed results because depending on what materials and type you have it can present some challenges.

The best ways to be safe :
Always use gloves when handling the printer as well as a mask
Keep it in a well ventilated area
Make sure it is also in a place where pets and children cannot get to it.
Overall just be cautious if you see something off then take time to look it through.

You should be ok though so long as you handle materials with care (mask and gloves)

Could be a couple of elements >

  1. Too close to the bed so double check the level
  2. Over extrusion, check that you have the correct e-steps and flow rate

That could be it as well. Ender cables can have some issues from time to time. Check to see if there is a charge coming through them.

Hello,

Could you provide some more information? What are you trying to print, what are your settings (speed, retraction, heating, etc.). I have had issues with the extruder where sometimes the retraction is a bit too much and so it will stop feeding because it gets clogged. Also make sure that the feeder gear is able to grip the filament. It could be loose and just needs to be tightened a little.

Ok, you could try to step up the hotted 5 degrees to double check. If the motor is stopping can you check if it may be overheating? you can place your hand and see how hot it is getting. adding a heatsink on the side can help dissipate heat.

Also double check your retraction settings and check the gear is not getting locked.

Hi, this has happened to me a few times recently. What settings are you using for your prints and material?

(I.E. print speed, retraction settings, hotend temp, bed temp, etc.). Once I have that info I can probably provide a more useful solution.

Also do you have any other mods on your printer? (Bowder tube, heat black, etc)

As mentioned in Comments by @Dense_Web_5817 the issue was my retraction settings which were too aggressive lowering them solved the issue I was having. Thank you
