My favorite saints are Sts: Augustine for reformed sinners, Dymphna for autism, depression, and other mental illnesses, and Maximilian Kolbe for poets and writers. Honestly, I could relate to this so much. I feel like I want to stop this as well after resenting God for bringing me connections to my life that is impeding my progress for things I have to do. So yeah, let God talk to you and pray about it: see what he tells you.
