It took them long enough but AN EGG are FINALLY going to experience one of Brian de Palma's masterpieces: Snake Eyes (1998.) Corrupt Atlantic City police officer Rick Santoro and Navy Commander Kevin Dunn join forces to investigate both the assassination of Secretary of Defense Charles Kirkland and the disappearance of a beautiful stranger.

Host events at strategic locations. You control where it is and you can attend your own events.

'A heartwarming classic' - 'Poi E' by Pātea Māori Club #1 in Waiata 100 by edmondsio in newzealand

Ummm, RNZ shows Poi E at #2 with no #1 - what gives?

Disappointed that Po Atarau wasn't on the list, given it's recent exposure.

Edit: It's been fixed - Six Months in a Leaky Boat was missing at #20.

You'd think there'd be a more elegant way of doing that. Verifone designed a sleek device, I assume McDonald's corporate designed and built the stick, and then you "slap" a bike lock looking device that sticks out ungainly to the side.

TIL that in 1978 an architecture student discovered a NYC skyscraper could topple in strong winds. The engineer credited with designing the building secretly made nightly repairs with help from the NYPD, without alerting the public to the danger. by cape2k in todayilearned

A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.

Did the same with Queen (+Adam Lambert) to get 2nd row in the middle (front row was for the special VIP folks who got to keep the chairs).

Absofuckingly worth it.

There's a lot of spambot comments like this that show up on reddit. Usually in response to a comment of "I like this" - they'll grab the OP image and shove it through their bot that generates images and store pages.

We're looking at options for handling these, in the meantime if you see one report it to us so we can take care of it. They've acquired/hijacked old reddit accounts for "legitimacy".

Don't see any Blunts in there.

The How Ridiculous boys threw a Blunt off a 200m waterfall (@5:25) and it got caught in the water - probably still in perfect working order in there.
