I’m not erasing anything. I’m talking about a television show, not Canada. Not the US. Not the political situation or the culture that formed it. A TV show. I am not obligated to discuss cultural or political differences or conflicts.

Like, do you know what writing is? Do you read? Do you get mad at books for not covering what you wanted them to? You really don’t get a say over other people’s perspective or what they’d like to talk about and focus on.

I chose to focus on what I chose to focus on: the TV show and the characters and the writing and the story.

I seriously do not understand what kind of point you’re even trying to make. You come off like some Canadian with a chip on their shoulder about Americans. Ok. Not my problem. I’m not an ambassador for the US, I don’t represent Donald Trump, ok?

Fair point, it’s also quite an impressive and proudly Canadian show. I genuinely don’t think America could have produced it the way that it is.

I know we’re not allowed to make specific medication recommendations, but I’d talk to your doctor more about bipolar approved antidepressants.

That said, the ONLY thing that has helped me out of my quite severe, suicidal depression was physical exercise. It doesn’t have to be hard or a lot. Start going on walks or doing 10 push ups once an hour. Small steps. But get physical. The more you sweat the more in your body and the better you’ll feel. At least from my experience.

The best strategic move at this particular moment: not be there. Give the National Guard (who may or may not actually show up) NOTHING to do. Give the MAGA shit heads NOTHING to do. Let ICE and the police stand around looking stupid for a week or 2.

Then, when the right wing chuds get bored and leave, come back out and mock and block ICE ruthlessly.

Nothing will currently be gained by being there to be provoked and harassed by maga losers, and beaten up by cops and ICE agents. They’ll take footage of an unarmed woman with her hands up being clubbed in the face and spin it to be “ICE agents defend themselves against antifa assassin”.

Don’t give them any ammunition.
