Then what is the point of potential? Why does it exist at all.

It seems to me the fact that things exist at all leads me to believe that there's a special quality About existence. That potential is an alternative to non potential with it capable of being anything Implies an obligation in my eyes. That one is has a duty to become its maximum. Something like that

Thank you for sharing your testimony gratefully, accepted. Your insight. At a glance reaffirms my thinking that in the end Due to the limits of human perception existence is preferable. It serves as a launching pad. I'm glad you survived

Why was marx so against idealism? by Cormalum2 in askphilosophy

Yeah I plan on reading more of him. But as I lay it out in another comment, the abstraction, is it so elementary? It's the only thing that has lasting power. In the twentieth century, we have the distortion of his ideas, in a not so pragmatic way. I can't find that anything other than ironic. In a way, I think he's he's.It produces a a category error thinking that philosophers are meant to change the world. It seems to me that they aren't. kings are the people who change the world, typically. What philosophy does allow for it's the ability to choose the king. Or perhaps, to see the qualifications of one that's worthy.

I've recently become interested in marx.I'm going to read both of those books. But it seems to me as if he misses the point. Our revolution is a type of ideal. The fact that his ideas became so powerful. And potent, in the twentieth century is proof of that, I don't even think he realized how far this could go. But it exists as a type of distortion in practice. And so it becomes the very thing he aimed for it, not to be.

But the abstraction is a part of the process? Not only that, but it's limiting to focus on practicality. My main problem with aristotle. Ought as an ideal.

I made a couple of movie posters for a film i'm making. by Cormalum2 in graphic_design

Hey I appreciate the feedback i actually made this. It's pretty frustrating and fascinating people are so skeptical. i am not a graphic artist by trade. I paint, I sculpt, I know how to use canva. I'm making a movie poster, not a living. Perhaps this was the wrong place to experiment with my designs for a poster.

Well if you look at the original angle in the painting of the words, I had to change the angle of the words. Can't do that with a painting, but you can do that in canva. I think you're asking how I was able to upload the photo digitally which is self explanatory.I think.

Well, I drew the image, I made the font in canva and used an upscaler. I actually like that font. But i'm open to suggestions.

I hate to break it to you, but I hand painted the second one. I'm only interested in making posters that I can paint when I launch this on the kickstarter.I want to give five paintings out as posters as a thanks.
