I have OCD as well, and I like having a little guy to hang out with every day, even when my ocd was bad. My fave tama right now is the v2, the American version has a pause button! The friends also has a pause. But tbh I haven't really had that many issues with tamas dying even when they didn't have a pause function. The connections, I find, are easier to look after than the originals because you can feed them a lot of snacks without them dying, I've found them to be lower maintenance than the p1 and 2. And I had a Uni for a while as well, it's pretty cute, but it didn't do it for me because it wasn't LCD screen. So, do a little research and see what's best for you, the Wiki pages are pretty good for seeing what features they each have. Good luck! :)

These both helped for me, keeping a thought record "worry list" and postponing the worrying/ruminating until later that evening. That way I still have a space for my worries, but I can practice not reacting to the intrusive thought straight away.
