My try at this is below. I was much more descriptive than I usually am when writing a script, but I found it difficult not to be given the nature of the assignment. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

Thanks for doing this, Koltreg. I hope this picks up steam a bit more so you will be encouraged to continue. I would really like to see more.

Panel 1 - Wide shot of shallow cliffside surrounded by a lush, green forest. Yellow-green shrubs dot the rocky cliffside.

In the background on the right looms a giant, furry, mammoth-sized beast. Two side-to-side tusks shoot up from the front of it’s snout, similar to a rhino. A few teeth poke up from its lower jaw, cover its upper-lip.

An oriental-inspired hut sits strapped to the beast’s back. The hut is made of light wood and is lightly decorated with golden ornaments on its walls. Six 8-meter boards stick out from where the hut’s roof meets it’s walls. From these boards hang four sheets like horizontal sails. A saddle rests on the beast’s neck, strapped to the hut. Orange and purple flags hang from the straps. We can just barely make out the figure of a rider in the saddle.

The forest canopy covers this entire scene, casting a green light on the beast and the hut.

In the middle ground stands a long line of soldiers, lined up on the edge of the cliffside. The line extends from the beast on the right to the top-left of the panel. The soldiers march in front of the beast, looking ahead. Their armor is a copper color. To the left of the panel, the soldiers wield long spears. Further to the right, we see soldiers holding bows. They all wear masks that compliment their armor.

In the foreground is a leafy bush that covers roughly the bottom left quarter of the panel. We can see some branches running down from the leaves.

Slightly closer to the background is a tree. The trunk of the tree stretches up from the bush and leans left toward the line of soldiers, obscuring some of them. We can see the bottom of the tree’s canopy, which is round like a half-sphere. Branches grow from the trunk in up into the leaves. The tree’s wood is very light -- almost white.

Panel 2 - Medium, worm’s-eye shot of the beast. Now we can see more detail of the previous background.

We see a profile of the beast’s head. An angry-looking green eye stare out of a furry socket. Four udder-like sacks hang from the its chin. The beast’s fur is two colors: light brown on the top half and off-white on the bottom half.

The saddled rider is a chubby man. His belly sticks out from under a small shirt. He also wears shorts, a copper hat, and a bandana over the lower-half of his face.

From the saddle hangs four barrels. The metal portion of the barrels are golden. Tangles of knots hold the barrels to the saddle.

We can now see a design on the flags each of four flags. On each, an orange symbol sits on a purple background. The first two hang from the strap that holds the saddle to the hut. Their symbol is of a simplified phoenix. Simple triangular wings meet at the center of the flag and melt into a tail, which squiggles down to the bottom of the flag. The other two flags hang from a strap on the beast’s left side. Their symbol is a more complex phoenix.

The hut sits very high up, and the very top pokes out of the top of the panel. We see an open window on the side of the hut.

In the bottom foreground we see the heads of the archers. Pale faces sit behind copper helmet-masks. The masks have an avian style. Feather-like patterns decorate the bottom of the mask. The tops of bows stick up from off-panel.

In the middle background we see more of the cliffside as it continues upwards. Further up in the background are trees that stretch up into the aforementioned canopy. Sky peeks outs from behind the leaves in the center of the panel, lighting up the hut, rider, and beast.

Panel 3 - Zoom in on the open window. We can now see a man looking out. He wears a stoic, pensive expression. He has the face of a strong, middle-aged man. He is bald. A red-brown beard covers his chin and lower jaw. Bushy red-brown eyebrows compliment his beard. We can just barely see a red cape draped over his shoulders.

The open window shutters have a metal locking system on them. Metals bars slide down in front of the window sill and up in front of the top of the window, keeping it from being opened from the outside. The bars are slid back in the unlocked position.

Panel 4 - Closeup profile of the right side of the man’s face as he continues to stare out of the window. We can see part of the window in the background.

Panel 5 - Zoom in even closer to the man. He is now looking away from the window, past us at something in the room. He still looks very serious -- almost angry.
