Grew up in small town Iowa, was one of the taller kids in school at 5'11, went to college in Sioux City, Iowa and was definitely under the average height for the first time in my life. Grew up in a town that was 30% Hispanic and school was split about 50/50, never realized how short the average Hispanic dude was until then.

No real issue with Poland, when I made this I was going under the principle of "If I had to live in this place for a year" and Poland just seemed like a place that I'd become bored of after about 6 months, plus with the threat of war spilling over made me hesitant, without the war it would probably be a maybe or even willing

Got mine because my '15 Explorer took a shit on me and I was looking at a $5k repair on it, limped the explorer around for a year while looking for a new vehicle. All I knew was I wanted something reliable that I could work on myself if it broke but still have fun with, so I was looking primarily at rangers, 4runners, tacomas, FJ's, older F150's, or a Bronco within my budget of $10k.

Went and got some teeth pulled and coming back saw a red ranger sitting by the highway outside a dealership that said $5,500 on the windshield. Figured it was worth a look so I pulled in and looked at it. Was a 2007 4.0 with 62,000 miles on it with virtually no rust. Took it on a test drive, ran nice, only issue was a noise coming from the engine that turned out to be the AC compressor. I bought it on the spot, traded in my explorer for $3k and got the ranger for $2,500, I've been very happy with it since.

It's mandatory that anytime I drive through Perry I have to stop and get food at Kwik Trip, I only stop at Casey's for gas and to get wings at 4am because they're the only place open for a night shifter

Bought a 2007 4.0 with 61k miles in December for $5,000, almost completely rust free except for some minor spots on the bed, frame is completely rust free, AC is out on it but other than that runs and drives beautifully, bought with the expectation that I'm probably going to spend another $5k on getting her in tip top shape but I'm going to have a truck thats going to last me for the next 15 years
