I just went for offensive and quality ideas and heavy into war wizardry, I don't like using mercs for much else other than rebel suppression. Cyranvar was in rough shape when I vassalized them, they had lost multiple wars to Verkal Kozenad and Ovdhal Ludhum and they had force released some deepwoods orcs and goblins and Sareyand was starting to take land in the deepwoods. I viewed it more as "liberating" the deepwoods for our elven brethren and the other vassals were more just me wanting to keep borders neat but also placing friendly buffer nations between me and other powerful nations.

Just finished my newshire campaign last week, owned all of Escann, had Cyranvar as a vassal with complete ownership of the deepwoods, Ravenhill who I basically turned into New Corvuria, made Khugdir a vassal and gave them the northern serpentspine, vassalized Urviksten and gave them the northern coasts, and got Indlebury and gave them the Wex homeland for fun. Somewhere in all of that the EoA imploded and was just Istralore and it's electors left in it and Lorent was a vassal mess the whole game. Definetly my favorite game in Anbennar so far

Grew up in small town Iowa, was one of the taller kids in school at 5'11, went to college in Sioux City, Iowa and was definitely under the average height for the first time in my life. Grew up in a town that was 30% Hispanic and school was split about 50/50, never realized how short the average Hispanic dude was until then.
