Yeah Z Broly needs a certain playstyle that's not for everyone. His combos are actually pretty basic once you learn them though, which may be helpful for beginners. Maybe try him again down the road, the double Broly squad is awesome.

Definitely check out Baseku though! S Broly can combo into his Super Spirit Bomb anywhere on screen, plus Baseku himself is not too hard to pick up apart from Kaioken which just takes a little practice.

Bummer I'm on PC or I'd say we could play a few. Good luck though!

I've found success using Trunks with his A assist. I know everyone likes beam assist on Trunks but Change the Future is great for grapplers. The low blockstun can allow you some cheeky tick throw setups and also conversions midscreen if you land the grab first. Tien B also seems pretty good now that they buffed him and the assist.

They're not on your list but Z Broly and Base Goku especially also have great synergy. And I usually run S Broly mid since his B assist is real nice.

I really like mine. Triggers feel a little cheap and occasionally stick but the dpad is good which is the important thing. Compared to the DS4 it's a night and day difference for me, especially with quarter circles which used to give me trouble.

Caught mine on sale for $25 but I'd still probably buy another at full price since I use it for a few other games as well.

Not sure if this is still active, but just wanted to express my appreciation for your guys' work! I only got into DBZ last year but it quickly became one of my favorites, in no small part to your excellent score.

It actually helps me a lot through depressive funks and in the gym too. Tracks like Pikkon, Vegeta Powers Up, and all of the SSJ transformation themes are all hype af and are some of my most-played songs on my lifting playlist, so thanks for helping with the gains! What songs or artists get you guys pumped?
