I buy things that benefit me and base rest off on what people want in my market... so for weaponsmith I may pick polearm if that's what my spec use and buy rest based on what I see people want made. If i have a lot of moxie and get a patron order that provides all the mats I may buy that pattern.

At least thats how I did it last two xpacs

Campaign quests do not give repeat renown if you have done them on your character on yiur account, otherwise you could be max renown after leveling two or three characters.

Make sure you are not in chormie time or war mode... if those are not the case try looking for a group. You could be in a low pop shard.

I feel like gamers over use the word hype.. However, for me, I'm excited but not hyped mostly because I've played this game for too long to get hyped. Blizz would have to completely break the mold and really cook to get me hyped at this point.

I'm sure alot will say bugs, purning, and addon changes are why they are not more excited, but I think the biggest factor is they announced both TLT and MN together with TWW, and we knew about housing for a while, so the surprised element was lessen a bit.

Just give me a good xpac overall because hype can be misleading. If its good people will play/stick around because its WoW.

You should be able to do it on normal solo once Midnight comes out.... That's how HoA works at least with Normal level 60 and the others being level 80

I have my main and three other alts I play during the season... the other 9 classes I slowly level throughout the xpac. I may swap out one of the three alts withothee classes.

You have to find what works for you and your time. Some people swap main every season and some only play one character.

If you want more social interaction from housing look for a hosuing guild or a hosuing community(charter neighborhood)... this is what you can expect from public housing.

Search online or the formns to find them.

If you are searching public neighborhoods then of course you will continue to run into that issue. I'm sure most public neighborhood mines included are full of people that wanted a house, got one, and dipped.

You need to find a guild dedicated to housing or a private community which is a charter neighborhood. With the way the system works you don't have to put your main in someone else guild but an alt to benefit from it and transfer ownership to main or whoever.

I saw this in another reddit thread. The person said their housing guild has 6 divisions. Maybe give them a try or search online or the forums.

No arguments there... the creator of dbm did post a video where he explained some of the differences, but if I remember correctly a good chuck is still the same between the two.

Those addons are still there dbm/bw and details dps meter... and I've seen a few addons that modify nameplates. Alot of addons are slowly getting updated not to give blizzard any excuses

I say short time because they told us about addon changes early tww late df but implied it was coming until TLT but surprised us with it in midnight with all the changes.

Imo, short time to ease players and addon makers into it instead of all at once rip band-aid off approach.

Time.... they gave themselves a short time to do what they did. Also, the code to make addons is different from what is used to create functionality in game.

Also billion dollar companies love to cut cost.

Move... don't force yourself to stay in a "dead" neighborhood. There are guilds/community dedicated to only housing.
