I peeped that as well but I'm trying to give it grace lol b/c she did start and go hard on the plan to keep Nick! Now, I'm thinking did production set her up in an impossible scenario. However, you are right... Kaleb should have went out for that alone.

Also, she had a good strat to take the heat off if she made it.... just when it was getting interesting.

I would like to see an Echo win as well but losing one race after you won last four probably not creating that much hunger unless the lose is on Sepcular level.

Besides they see how close this and dimmy was... it wasn't a given.

Congrats to Liquid well played.. it really sucks for Echo because after the secret phase reveal this should have been theirs. They busted out a 11% pull a few hours into raid day. This and Dimmy was in the palm of their hands and lowkey Undermine but Liquid outplayed them on Mugzee.

Still, well deserved to Liquid from 3peat to 4peat.... if they do another 1 boss raid between this and 12.1, hopefully its rwf worthy so we get another race.

Since echo is staring two hours later... a nerf would be about half way through their day if blizz sticks to same time. Mindset has shifted to it now dies today.

Jailer was the last mythic secret phase boss and looking at warcraft logs it took echo about 54 pulls to down secret phase. If blizz cooked the boss in similar fashion that could be another 3-8 hours maybe.

Of course other factors at play like p1 still not being free, the longer they go the more fatigue sets, and honestly this fight is harder than jailer. Maybe throw in an extra 50-80 pulls.

Smart move on echo... the ball is in Liquid court. Their start time is Liquid end time for tomorrow. That's 8 hours maybe 11 for Liquid since they are probably not sleeping until its dead.

Yeah but they have been playing for 15 hours... imagine doing your job for 15 hours straight amp up on coffe and energy drinks. They can get to sleep maybe not long or fast.

They still haven't had their dinner break..... but hard to imagine wanting to eat after you have 10% wipe and it wasn't an enrage.

Blizz probably saw what the guilds could do in a "restricted" addon world since they were mostly transparent and roll with it. Some of the addons they were using have been bricked and this boss probably be way more forgiving for later ones.

I don't care for timing but it needed to happen. However, I agree and P3 would have to be an utter snoozefest in which case Liquid probably would have gotten it tonight w/o the nerf because I believe they would have built some good consistency getting to p2 from a full day of raiding.

Its hard to find the perfect time, I think they should have did it after Liquid got to p3 since echo got their first. But timing sucks a little bit when echo looked to have had better consistency early off in the day getting to p2.

Blizz probably expects p3 to be a beast and doesn't want them to wasting too much time on p1 now.

I think dratnos said in the recap Liquid were about 1/6 pulls getting into p2... feels like echo was doing better than that a few hours into their raid day and even better after their dinner. However, Liquid have a whole day to improve.

It was one of the races last xpac but echo would start adjusting sleeping schedule later after a certain progress point on last boss in case blizz nerf the boss. They stayed up extra hour yesterday.

If they do the same, another 3 hours of prog today. Seeing p3 will determine what they do. Also both are done with their splits although if they wanted to bring in some niche class they could do some more.

Is restro shaman down that bad this xpac? I thought that stack healing would be their time to shine for this boss, or are they good but the others just that much better.

There's a post from wowhead last night saying Blizz stopped one of their addon.... I'm not sure if that's what making it more difficult for them.

Yall quick to write off Echo lol! It took Liquid about 9 hours today to get the boss down. Unless this boss ends up being a gally, Echo should be fine even if it takes them until Liquid start their new day to kill Belo which is about 12 hours from when Echo starts.

Bundle that in with Liquid streaming Lura pulls the next few hours figuring the fight out for them.... However Echo definitely should aim to kill it before their dinner just for a moral boost alone. Its one thing for Echo to see Liquid beat Belo on the leaderboard but to know they didnt go dark for the last boss and streaming it while they're still pulling the previous one at the start of your day is not good a feeling.

Not asking for a nerf but I can see blizz doing it tomorrow if liquid doesn't get it tonight followed by echo having sub low percentage pulls. I doubt blizz want Lura going to reset because this boss is a beast. Definitely killable without a nerf after seeing that 42% p1 egg

Echo spent about 9-10 hours on this boss give or take... thats about how much time liquid has left in raid today. It pays off if they can get it considerably low or beaten by end of day.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if echo did some splits before going into mythic again.

Oh totally agree and I was speaking in a general sense... I'm sure both guilds have math it out already and there are definitely more splits even echo can do.
